My designer summer hat sew a long.(free pattern)

I am excited to share with you my very special hat pattern, I designed thirteen years ago.
You will need to make pattern pieces as follows:-
Hat crown or lid, cut one circle 12" diameter
Cut one in outer fabric and one in lining
Hat brim- cut four in outer fabric and cut two in stiff interfacing
Brim template PDF below

Hat band: - 24" x 3".
Cut one in outer, one in lining and one soft cotton interfacing.
Plus one more for bow (optional)
Brim binding: - 2" x 28" cut two on the bias.

Love the hat, all cut out and ready to sew along. The demo would have been a lot easier to follow if you did the lining in a plain contrast colourway.

How exciting! Love to see it when you finish it. Yes I see what you mean about the plain lining. This was videoed at a very difficult time when we were moving house and I wasn’t able to get to much fabric as it was packed in boxes. My sewing room was filled with decorating things too. I will bare that in mind for next time.

Hi Paula, I was hoping Jennifer would return so I can try to help her as I don’t understand as all the pattern you need is in the description below the video. Can you please explain what you haven’t got. The pdf is there for the brim and all the other measurements you need not just the video.
