I don’t comment too often, but I wanted to take a second to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Please don’t ever stop!!! Sreetips you are pure gold.😎
This was amazing. I have been away for a while.. at sea..!! So catching up.. I really loved what you did here.. beautiful gift to give!! Loved the 2202022... Brilliant!!! ✌🏼💗😊❣️
That is amazing - I can't imagine a nicer gift! Yet another beautifully poured bar! Your lettering with the punch set also looks really good - I can imagine making a spelling error trying to do that! Great video! 👍
Sreetips, you've inspired me get into silver refining. I've been hitting up the thrift stores in search of cheap silver, and I've had some really great finds so far. I plan to get into this as a hobby to save for the future. Considering the inflation right now, and since premiums are pretty high right now for the maples and the eagles, finding scrap sterling has been so easy, and I've made a profit so far and I haven't even started my first refining! It's like there's treasure hidden in plain sight.. Wish me luck! .. and all the best. Cheers
You know how to mold beautiful bars of gold and silver! Some years ago i went to buy an acetylene torch kit at Walmart, and they refused to sell it to me because i didn't have some kind of license. I love to work with metals, especially copper and silver.
You don't need a license to buy an oxy acetylene torch. Get one from lowes, depot, tractor supply, menards, or a welding supply store. They won't turn you away. In fact ,if you buy from a weld supply, they will fill the tanks.
Nice to see you again sreetips , that is a really cool and different kind of gift idea . Hand made with love for love......very cool , Great job sir. See you on the next one. Cheers
>Pay no attention to the silver nitrate stain on Sreetips fingers "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!" Here's to Paul and Barbara. Glad someone out there is still making it.
Man,, that's really nice,, That Silver Crystal is so awesome.. Marcy and I have our 35th Anniversary in March . We met as Pen Pals on my first cruise, USS America(CV66) and I was an E-2. Met when I went home on leave and were married 5 months later,, very fun life together,, All the best brother,,
Great job sreetips, my opinion is id wish you stamped the back of the bar and not take away from those beautiful ripples on the top. Great job. Congrats Paul and Barbara. May you life together be a beautiful as this bar
hey I'm just curious if this would work when you glazing a new crucible with borax instead of pinching it that way could you do a fine mist of water dust it with borax let dry or not and then glaze it I know water is bad but if it's a fine mist then I don't see it causing much of an issue but I don't know I'm totally a beginner at all this but love to learn
I’m not familiar with battery water. I buy distilled water at the grocery store for about $1 per gallon. Or you could catch the condensate from your air conditioner. Filter and use it for distilled water. But I’ve never tried this. It should work. On humid days I can fill a 5 gallon bucket under my AC window until in about two days.
I don’t comment too often, but I wanted to take a second to tell you how much I enjoy your videos. Please don’t ever stop!!! Sreetips you are pure gold.😎

really? my friend had no problem buying one and he has no license not even a drivers license thats insane

I just bought the kit that includes gauges, hose, cutting torch body, goggles. Then they provide the tanks. You just pay for the acetylene and oxygen.
Very nice wedding gift!
Nice to see you again sreetips , that is a really cool and different kind of gift idea . Hand made with love for love......very cool , Great job sir. See you on the next one. Cheers

Man,, that's really nice,, That Silver Crystal is so awesome..
Marcy and I have our 35th Anniversary in March . We met as Pen Pals on my first cruise, USS America(CV66) and I was an E-2. Met when I went home on leave and were married 5 months later,, very fun life together,,
All the best brother,,
Hey cool,, we're back over $25 an Oz again,,
I met my wife in 1978. We got married 27 June 1979. I deployed for six months the next day - Med cruise.
That is stunning. Do you ever sell any of these bars? I would be very interested.
You are the master
Love your vids. How long does a melt dish typically last you?
About 10 poured bars and then stuff starts sticking to the bars. Then I retire the melt dish to inquarting duty.
I ♥️ viewing these videos
Man, staring at that torch must be murder on the eyes
I use a tinted face shield
Great job sreetips, my opinion is id wish you stamped the back of the bar and not take away from those beautiful ripples on the top. Great job. Congrats Paul and Barbara. May you life together be a beautiful as this bar

The borax melts and coats the inner surface of the melt dish. I don’t think wetting it is a good idea
Nice.
Your best pour.
may there be many children for Paul and Barbra in their future, congrats.
Would like to know if theres any difference between battery water and your normal distilled water, can it be used for refining silver and gold?
I’m not familiar with battery water. I buy distilled water at the grocery store for about $1 per gallon. Or you could catch the condensate from your air conditioner. Filter and use it for distilled water. But I’ve never tried this. It should work. On humid days I can fill a 5 gallon bucket under my AC window until in about two days.
Very nice 👍
Hi, curiously asking, can the Brown gold dust produced after precipitating with sodium, be detected with metal detector just like gold???
Yes, it’s metallic gold at that point
Cool...
Have you tried putting the bar back in the mold and fire in your kiln?
No
If you don't mind me asking, where do you buy your melt dishes at?
I bought one gross, twelve dozen of them back in 2010 from Miller jewelry supply in Chicago.
Thanks for the info!
The video was interesting.👌
Melting is my favorite part😅
Awsome gift
Brother you are 5 nines pure 😎👍
Where have you been?
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
On a break
I'll get married just to get that bar as a gift.
Scooping the silver crystals into the beaker made me think of cereal for some reason, like frosted flakes but far too crunchy.
SREETIPS....
I miss your posts. Hope you and yours are doing well.
Best of wishes for Paul and Barbara.
