On the contrary: he has an unjustified overconfidence in his performance at any task and would love to get on the stand to deliver another rambling screed against everyone he feels has wronged him. All his attorneys and advisors (present and past) know this and that's why they've fought to keep him from testifying. The depositions that preceded his appearance in court are damaging enough, and those were lower-risk environments.

Michael Cohen took the "legal bullet" for Trump, and Trump ended up throwing Cohen under the bus. Then, and only then, did Michael Cohen - who is not a dunce unlike Donald J. Trump - say to himself - "You've been had by Trump, dude. Enough." Michael Cohen did his time in prison, he made his confession, he apologized to his family who stood by him (what Trump family members are standing beside Donald J. Trump right now, heh?), and he has done his Mea Culpa publicly, both figuratively and literally. To summarize, Cohen lied under oath to attempt to protect Trump during his testimony before Congress, and that is what he was charged with and sent to prison for.

He must of got a shock when last week there was no one standing in front of the court doors behind him. I noticed, and remarked on it. Obviously he had to rectify that because for him this isnt about being a criminal - he wears that like a badge of honor - its about popularity.

It speaks volumes about the losers who decided to show up and cheer on Trump at his trial today.
