X-Maxx mod 1.5 Unbreakable gears Install & Slipper Eliminator, Huge X-Maxx motor upgrade..

- Today we install some mod 1.5 gears with slipper eliminator in my xmaxx, motor used is the Leopard Hobby 58113 1050 kv.. its a beast!!!!!
Gear ratio is 25t Pinion and 35t Spur..
After running for 20 mins constant the motor was only warm to the touch, Ambient air temp was around 17'c..
I will monitor the motors temp and if i need to i will add fans..
Now that's a upgrade!! Im about upgrade my xmaxx too now..... Thanx 4 sharing

Awesome videos Jay!! How has the the install held up for you? Are you still running the same gearing? I'm doing a similar install, but using the Dynamite Fuze DYNS1665 motor (same as the castle 2028) with the Max5 Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Hmmm, I wouldn't be happy with half the pinion touching the spur gear.
Hey Jay Pearce. Where do you get them belt drive systems? I just recently came across one on Ebay, but not sure how that brand holds up. I can’t remember the name of the company. It looks really neat. So where to the belts run then? In place of pinion and spur? I see your comment says it’s 10 times better. That’s sweet

I'm running the leopard hobby 56110 950kv on the same gearing and it eats tires. Proline badlands MX43's are next on my list lol
