This is exactly what happened to wenger up against fergie & mourinho
Pep will be remembered as Fergi and Klop will remembered as Wenger
Without City and pep, and real madrid klopps liverpool sides would have been historic 3 ucls and 3 prems would have put him in one the greatest coaches of all time in terms of achievements def one of the best underachieving coaches in the world
you could say that about any era.
@@ifl1476true if there was no Usain Bolt Asafa Powell would have been ...
Without Prime Barcelona, United would have had two more champions league titles what is your point?
@@sachindevprasad3185 the point is the potential of success based on the performance of the team in question, being nearly successful is obviously not something that people put on a pedestal because it isnt tangible success but it's about taking notice of the team placing themselves in those positions on multiple occasions throughout a period of time. It's really sad that people would not look at and appreciate the level of performance of a team that does not get the glory because they only care to give kudos to the one who won it all, and before saying they haven't won so what do they deserve praise for that is a really shallow take.
👊🏿💥 I remember this section from the hangout. I can sort of see both sides that his legacy may fade coz the history books will just reflect 2nd place etc but I also reckon people are just forgetting that even if you get overshadowed you can still leave a lasting legacy and so I think more than the trophies and stuff they won under him he'll be remembered for bringing them back to the top coz for a time they were stuck in mid table mediocrity and even tho they had the random title challenges like during that Suarez era, they were never really consistently in the convo until Klopp brought them back.
So for the people who end up having nuanced discussion he'll always be brought up but for those that just focus on stats and wikipedia then yeah for them man they just gonna remember him as an other during the Pep era.
HH how do I join the hangout I have things to say
Slot might be the best Dutch coach of all time. And I support Ajax. He will do good guys. What he did at Feyenoord was next to bizarre. And Ten Hag is nr 1 on Bayern list he will do great over there too
All time? Cruyff and Van gaal Resume speaks for itself
Slot looks like a good manager but Cruyff, Michels and LVG are the best
@@sachindevprasad3185 skillwise. Time will tell if he wins prizes.
