"That's a whole lot of tubing in the rear"... cue the Beavis and Butthead laughter.
Giggity
I stopped the video to check the comments.
For her to KNOW, that's a lot of tubing, she would have to know, what is just the right amount of tubing. She just doesn't look to me to be a tubing expert.
One tubing in the rear joke and "poof" she gone.
XOR is like the red headed step child lol
"...a lot of tubing in the rear" not sure if unintended sexual innuendo or.... lol
It's cool to see other people building my dream truck 🤣
That taco likely already had a leveling kit on it. Those front shock absorbers were bilstien 5100s, which can be set lift the front of the truck by preloading the coil. Also, those UCAs didn’t look like stock either. They looked similar to the uniball style that total chaos uses
I miss Jesse.... :(
Rip
Why put all that work into a stock stamped frame?
Wouldn't be boxing the frame beef it up a bunch?
An impact driver works great for drilling and setting self tapping screws. I transitioned years ago and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
List of best decisions: 4. Buying a house 3. Getting married 2. Having kids 1. Using an impact driver to drill with FTW!
I like your thinking!
@@JonBecker81 I think it's a context thing. But yeah be negative on the internet.
mirrored window I’m not being negative. Don’t be so sensitive, it’s a joke.
@@JonBecker81 I'm not sensitive, but I didn't laugh eirher.
mirrored window you sound like a fun person. To the OP, it’s a joke. Obviously. I know what you mean. People on the internet either are too sensitive or have no sense of humor and will even admit to having no sense of humor. What a fun world we live in. BTW mirror window, you’re the only one being negative here. Ironic isn’t it?
I miss Ian
I MISS BOTH OF THEM.
Lol, what happened to him?
@@eaglethehulk8539 He moved on to bigger pastures. He's got a big name now and can market it
I miss the blonde chick they once had RIP
@@lvl3472 Jessie.
all he had to say . that were using a plasma cutter to do the job. instead of sponser supplied qeipment.
You are the roll gage man
adding more weak points. to the frame. angain with the lame sponser crud. why not say wwhich are giving you stuff at the front of each episode. or put the links in the despcription with discount links?
Did Eliza quit mid-episode?
How does that 6.2 do with the trailer and the dually?
My OCD couldn't help but notice how not square that fuel tank basket was .
That plastic bed/3rd tail light housing gonna melt lol
more Taco!
Are these shows not on tv anymore? Thought they were on the Paramount channel.
This guy narrates like a robot.
I love any kind of automotive hi-po stuff. But this stuff is over produced, not realistic. That's why random people on the youtubez are so much more enjoyable to watch. Imo.....
Tubing in the rear 🤣
Does anyone else find it strange (annoying?) that they always leave the frame rusty? My first task would be to do a once-over w/ some rust converter. Now you can get to "doing" things w/o having to prep the frame w/ a flap disk and when all is said and done, frame rot isn't an issue and corrosion is lessened/eliminated. What happened to little Miss Fat Pants? Soon as things started getting worked on she bails. WTF?! Not exactly a dynamic duo, by any stretch.
Id say its not a bad idea to hit the frame with a rust sealant or converter, but you still should grind down to shiny metal before welding.
I miss Ian.
I don't know XOR. I know Extreme Off Road.
With that leveling kit, you don't mention the upper control arms are not stock.
Or that the previous owner was running Bils5100, which can be adjusted for height. Likely they were already set for 2 inches.
Did you never finish the ranger.. I want to see it run
Honestly, how hard and how expensive would it be to put a coyote in a 79 f150 and have 4x4?
burntsilverado the motor and transmission ( used ), wiring, fuel system, drive shafts & computer and all the fab work = $9,000 to $12,000
Sounds about right. It's not an easy swap but if you have a brain and are detail oriented you'll be fine.
my dream pick up is srt10 dodge ram single cab viper truuuuuuuuuuuuuck
Guess they never plan on putting windows back in...
AAAAAHHHHHH I have one of those!!! Mine, unfortunately, is automatic and 2WD, but I love, love, love my truck. I had a 1987 Toyota Pickup, before Toyota gave trucks cute names, and it got stolen in 2016 when I found my Tacoma. No one wanted it because it was 2WD, but now even the 2WD first gen Tacomas are hard and expensive to find. Lose the annoying tunes.
Shame about the music all the time.
Maybe Siri could teach you to talk like a normal human being.
All of the hosts have stilted speech. Going all the way back to the 80s.
NOT A BUILD BECAUSE THE FRAME HASN;T BEEN POWDER COATED OR BLASTED . JUST ANOTHER RUST BUCKET..
Haven't seen power block in the longest time. This popped up as a recommendation video. Made it like 4 mins in and had to turn it off. These two are so annoying
Shame about that frame. Why not box'er up?
I guess she doesn't know how to weld!
Just say Extreme Offroad. X O R sounds dumb
Leveling kits are horrible for your suspension, they put too much angle on your ball joints which wear them out faster and the additional pressure on your front springs make the truck ride rough. And let's be fair the extra 2 inches really won't help much anyway, if your tires are that close they will still bottom out
Oh, the pain of it! I hate to see a good Tacoma butchered......better not talk about it with my 2001.
Toyota won Dakar on a stock truck with the independent front suspension and this people are swapping solid axle? Even the GR racing Toyota Hilux has ifs/irs... all this off roads show only thing they know is rock crawling, add weight, and 40” tires and up.
why isnt the lady working with him. unless shes all show and no work. the other duo. they both work. and shes good looking as well.
oh god why did i see this i hope i dont take the saw to my ranger
eh ranger parts are easy to come by. they made them in the millions. and they brought them back. as well.
No problem, this is a Tacoma not a Ranger.
@@samadrid6321 tokoma ranger wat ever. its a truck
Oh no, a Tacoma is what a Ranger wants to be when it grows up. Remember, all paths lead to Toyota, eventually.
@@samadrid6321 yes but i mean the prerunner ranger
Are these the people who do this show now...? Ugh.............
This show lost all credibility when Ian was "retired" from it. Engine Power is the only one worth watching. And heavy walled is an actual size in tubing if you didn't know. /s
So is the woman just for show?
She's cutting and bending. He's tacking.
Show for what? That denim appears to be able to hold anything?
@@TickleFingers lol
So tired of the fake presentations these shows do. "Where is it?" In the driveway your camera person is standing in... Just pointless crap that adds nothing to the show.
That part is for the 12 year olds watching.
A slight revamp of the project name if you please... "*Hot Toymale*" o_0 This pays homage to it's Toyota roots and previous owner... ~_^
01:45 that not how you pronounce "tamale"...
This should be truck tech not XOR
Ford ranger????
1:10 LARGE HEAVY 4 DOOR IS NOT GOOD..... you want the small one better at everything other than extreme towing, dont buy a truck with over sized tires it wears engine and drivetrain out much faster, if you want big tires put them on yourself,
Toyota’s suck!
