I'm retired and there just is only one justification for me joining the paid group. It's because I enjoy watching and learning. I'll probably never work on that type of equipment again but I enjoy it and your effort is well worth my paying. I appreciate your work and the knowledge you share with us. And we share many of the same beliefs. We both served and we both love the Republic we used to have and pray to restore.
I come across people like this often, when it’s your time you should just do it for free. However when it’s their time the story changes, it’s those kind of people that make me hesitant to want to help people in general. You were kind enough to release the members only videos to everyone and they still complain. When I was much younger, I was working with my artisan ( as an apprentice 1st year) on a CAT D7F. The injector timing tool is supposed to have a collar on it, the one we had was missing the collar for some reason, so when the timing was set it was 180 degrees out for pump timing. The same thing...hard starting and the smoke was more brown than black ! The artisan found the problem with the timing tool and we realised the pump was fitted incorrectly. Once rectified, the engine ran like a dream ! Yes correct Warren the companion cylinder on a four cylinder (for number 1 ) is number 4. Thanks for showing how to rectify the pump timing on this motor.

I dont do pay su subscriptions, but if I did, your channel would be one of the few I would buy. I don't use much CZcams info for anything, it's just entertainment, and I dont have the budget to go down the pay road.... One thought on stripped bolt holes: if you still have space to disassemble the component in the future, consider loctiting in a stud (or even good all thread. That way you arent "using" the damaged threads anymore. Ive had good luck with this method. Hope it helps. I try to "pay" for my entertainment by giving back from my own experience when possible.

It depends on your generation and what you came up working on. 40-50 years old caught tail end of all mechanical. Most of the older guys are gone and any younger have a real hard time without a computer.
Not watched the end yet, the last 15mins, but it’s great content, and always enjoyed it, great mechanical, electrical and electronic knowledge. Been watching for a while now, 2018 or 19, and never complained. Quite liked the hat cam, showed the job, kept your hands free, and showed the amount of movement you did, never made me “sick” either. Annoys me when true creators like you aren’t rewarded by this platform, but there are channels with dubious creators who have (Dr Disrespect springs to mind). Keep up the amazing work, and like they say, dirty hands, clean money. Keep safe out there!!
Man oh man what a job huh. I have a buddy with a white tractor(didn’t know they existed) that has an injection pump that is stuck inside. No jingle sound when spinning the shaft. So I’ll get to tear that one apart. Good thing this one is easy to time. It has a little window you can see timing mark pretty easily. It’s probably half the size of the one Warren had to fix. Nice job Warren. You know those diesels well.

I have never had a problem with heli-coils, I really like Time-sert but the inserts and sets are expensive and many places do not carry them. No matter what a heli-coil is still stronger than the original threads. On aircraft engines everything has heli-coils from the factory.

Try pushing and holding the power button on that light. I had 1 for a year before i figured that out. it may turn off that way.
