Is a 1776-1976 no mint mark type 2 out of a regular mint set still worth something?
I have one in a little hard plastic case and there's no copper around the trimming I meant full bands around the drum should I get it graded

I just found one where the S mint mark would be is a blob of metal that doesn't look anything like an S. Actually when I hold it at a certain angle I can make out the S.

Sir I have different year quarter dollar coin one cents and one dime how much each one and five cents
The plastic that quarter is in makes it weigh more. You must cancel out that weight before weighing the quarter as your example for the non silver one was weighed. The plastic from a cigarette pack weighs .3 grams I believe. Just saying was kind of confused and understand the point just don't c that quarter in plastic weighing the same out of plastic. I did go weigh my quarters though 😅
yes brother i said the same thing, i just researched that there were 1976 quarters made with 40% silver that has NO MINT MARK i definitly agree with you that plastic makes it weigh more!!!!

A filled mint Mark is just cud and it's called a type two and in some cases they're worth more but usually not ... It's a fairly common error but it depends on which coin it is and if the coin is in mint state or not that makes the difference ... Hope that helps ... Good luck

A COIN isn't mint State until it's Ms 60 or higher..if it's under that grade it's not Uncirculated.

Haha that pooped in my head as well but the case he has it in actually weighs around .05 grams so it really doesn't effect the weight ... That is why the scale teetered between 6.19 and 6.20 ... Only commented on your comment because I said the same thing even though I knew better hahaha ... Good luck

Big D maby you can answer my question but first I’m not a new collector been collecting sine the 70,s I’m not a kid and not a new collector. Now why is all the coins I have looked at well nearly all have been recycled. They use the mercury dime reverse and the 1927 standing liberty and 1909 Indian head penny and seated liberty quarter obverse dies and any with liberty in the head band, all different sizes of liberty. Now honest dan told me I was making stuff up. Then blue ridge made a video I believe it was intended for me it was on dans channel and said that I threatened his family that’s a lie I’m an old man that’s disabled. I’m a patriot I’m about truth, you seam honest. Blue ridge, and honest dan the free mason man are not they won’t even talk to me, I sent blue ridge my number last nite but he didn’t want to talk about it. Look in Lincons jacket you will most likely find other dates. I’m just sorting out the gate keepers from the good people, you seam honest to me please let me know if you have looked. if you would like I will send you my number same offer as blue ridge
