Rick used to sound a lot more throaty. This guy sounds like he's talking from the top of his throat. I don't know how else to describe it

The voices are good enough. They do not take you out of the experience too much like it did for Solar Opposites. That new voice was sooooo different!
True but solar opposites made it clear that they werent looking for a imitation of the same voice, it was intentionally different from the Justin roland voice

I've been saying this to people let's just say they kept Roiland on and let's say the show goes on this long we are 20-25 years in the future the voices that are in the show now are exactly how I feel Roiland's voice would be then. I mean look at Matt Stone and Trey Parker that's how I feel it would go 1:23 down anyways. The voices are fine. 🙂

Morty has zero range and just sounds whiny the whole way through. Rick is t gravelly enough and you can tell he can’t pull off some of the original inflection Rick had
@@JasonN-qu5sc completely agree with this take. Its a very different feel when you're just trying to mimic a voice rather than throw your whole body behind it. The creators began to feel the characters out and get a sense of their psyche and personality. The fact that Rick is an alcoholic genius is an incredibly strong indication of how they wanted to proceed with the series before they even had a first cast room table read.

They aren’t going to tell anyone the new voice actors identity. It’s cuz they don’t care about quality. Just pumping out more content that is passable and tryin to pull the wool over peoples eyes. Most R/M fans will notice the difference in the story, humor and the overall feel of the show. It’s not gonna be the same by a long shot
@bleckybob roiland wasn’t even involved in s3 s4 s5 s6 he was only involved in s1 and s2. and s3 is considered the best rick and morty season the reason roiland left was because Harmon brought in new writers from harmon’s previous show community and roiland felt that Harmon was trying to take over the show and roiland was only involved in the voices not the writing

Right now, I will accept the new voice actor(s) of Rick and Morty.
What I like to know is what will happen in Season 7. What I hope is that some stories from previous seasons are resolved, including Rick going after Rick Prime and Morty trying to reconcile the damages he has done with his universe from Season 1.

At the last adventure on the intro were the giant thing is flying behind there ship and they are holding an egg i think im still waiting for that adventure for them to go on lol

It’s not even the voices…it’s the story and the brain/creativity of Justin roiland. He did so much improvised stuff and voiced so many more characters than just Rick and morty. It’s really pathetic how they cut him out of two shows that he pioneered and became the characters for…I really don’t even want to watch the new season. It’s gonna be trash
And yet you will watch and complain about every episode trying to see the worst in all of them. Even if they are good you will still complain until you are used to it at which point you will like and regularly watch it anyway. Can't you just skip the drama Bob and either approach it with an open mind or just not watch it? You and I both know where this goes. Focus more on your employment situation.

I don't understand how you can say it's Roiland's brain/creativity that made the show, but then go on to say he couldn't even do much improvised stuff (at least that's what I got from what you wrote). So, what, he's so creative by reading what someone else wrote for him? I've heard he's not even very involved in writing, so that would have to be the case. If I'm wrong, and he did do a lot of writing and was very involved, then that's my bad for not knowing, but if he just does voices and DOESN'T even do a lot of improvising.... Then nothing is lost. It'll be just as good as it would be if he were there. (and to be clear I'm not saying it WILL be a good season- I don't know, only time can really tell.)

Rick sounds a little off, like the voice gets smothered when he tries to yell, it's not as clean, but at 1:00 I couldn't tell that's not Justin

i'm a new viewer of rick and morty.. and i was binge watching rick and morty.. and as i reached season 7 i could tell it was a different voice actor, but ig u guys get break in b/w seasons so u dont see the difference.. so i get it.. for me, it was a bit odd
It's really too bad they canceled Justin Roiland. Even though he was proven innocent in a court of law.
I loved this season.
The voices are off. Nowhere near the original . Justin needs to be back ASAP. They don't have the same feel.

@@H2G odd thing is that rick and morty dont stutter as much between sentences, I felt something about their speech was off and it was how fluent they were speaking, but that might be just the trailer not using the stutter dialogue
I was thinking the same thing. But I feel like they have stuttered less and less over time. Like it was the most stutter heavy in season 1 and 2

New voice actors??? I came to the comments cause I wanted to see if anyone thought Rick and Morty sounded a little less Rick and Morty, but if it's new voices actors I can see why. I just thought Justin Roiland started doing the voices sober or something. Either way I don't think they sound right. As an avid fan till season 5 I think Rick is a little higher in pitch , same as Morty. Seems like he is struggling to imitate the legendary grainy parts of ricks voice to. For those of you saying it's we know there's new voice actors, that can't work with me cause I had no idea lol I'm gonna hit Google and do some reading. Stay good y'all. If it's true though, Rick and Morty officially lost me. Especially considering Justin was a co-creator. That sounds like some heavy Mark Zuckerberg type stuff.

Justin Roiland was cleared of charges. And yet the court of public opinion and executive BS judges him outright. He made these characters, all those people moaning that he was difficult to work with were perfectly happy to ride those coattails and then steal the creation when they got the chance. Roiland was integral to this creation and it's disgusting that he can just be discarded in this way. I'm not totally dismissing the contributions of others (it is obviously Harmon's baby and the creation of a whole team). Nor am I totally dismissing how difficult Roiland was to work with or his crass and even innapropriate behaviour, but do you really think you could get someone who could create those characters without that darkness within them? He was a confessed depressive alcohol abuser and people are just throwing that back in his face as a mere character flaw. Give him back these characters. Harmon should have insisted.
So what you're saying is, because he created this show and did the voice work, he should be pardoned? No matter how many texts he sent to underage girls? No matter how many times he defended being attracted to 14 year old girls?

That's not for me to do, that's for those who have been harmed by him to do. Do I think that any and all wrongdoing should be sufficient for someone to lose their job? No. Do I think what he has done is sufficient to loose his job, I don't think so. I suppose that you do. Where do you draw the line? There certainly have been in appropriate texts sent, things for which he should be sorry and rightly punished to some degree. Has he done anyone any lasting harm or violence? It seems not. What I object to is his creation being taken from him with a sense of justice from those who have benefitted from that creation most. That is deeply ugly and, arguably, a far greater crime than those he has committed. The self-righteous proclamations of his erstwhile colleagues and similarly smug jeering of a mob is a poor substitute for a genuine dialogue and opportunity for understanding. This art was built upon the broken and often watward souls of (for the most part) two men. The idea that their frequently displayed vices should be grounds for their dissimissal is beyond farcical.

Dan Harmon said they they wanted more stories after season 10 but i think 10 seasons of Rick and Morty is enough before it gets crappy. But i think it went downhill already, ESPECIALLY with the giant incest baby.

This season is honestly so awful. The jokes are suddenly bad, the characters are weird, the dialogue is bad etc. It's like a completely different show. It seems pretty clear that Justin Roiland clearly was the genius behind all the previous seasons. With him gone, the show is basically over

He got a fresh new voice, because the old voice actor was into kids, and nobody at work liked him, and he was never sober at the job

The dude was flirting with fans that were minors, don't blame this on everyone that wasn't him.
He had already alienated most of the people he worked with on R&M, the legal charges were the last straw. Yeah, they got dropped but the publicity brought out a bunch of accounts of erratic/antisocial behavior, + nearly a dozen fans, some of them underage, who he was creeping on. He needs to get psychiatric help.

What a waste of "Ace of Spades"
The sole reason the voices don't suck is because all us fans know the writing is the same. Which is what we cared about slightly more since the first episode. So it sucks why the voices are not coming from Roiland, but at least Harmon is still there.
Now lets all hope that Harmon does not hit his cap of things you can say or do socially, because only they do you start hearing about the actual illegal things and there fore actual crimes.
Or he might get hit with someone's "emotional truth" thats also a killer these days.😂

Not only am I not watching this because Justin's not in it. It was also rushed because it's a multi-billion dollar merch seller. Instead of giving the show what it had before. They threw people at it and just from watching this ad. It looks like it's going to suck and the jokes are not going to be as well put together. I can't watch the show anymore and I feel like a lot of other people should jump ship and not watch the show anymore.
Good for you but personally speaking I'm still gonna watch it regardless of Justin's firing plus I feel the new VAs based on this trailer are doing a fine enough job
