Here's your so called rights.
Natural Law - our inherent rights given by the Creator - are evident and if written by mankind, redundant. The main point of Natural Law is ’No person can give away authority to any other person because every single person is completely responsible for their own direct actions’. It doesn’t matter if 5 million people sign a piece of paper as fancy and official as they want no one has the authority to endow authority to another. It’s like saying, “I’m giving away my karma.” Somebody who hires somebody to commit murder is still guilty of murder. So if we fool ourselves into believing any human can be responsible for our personal freedoms, actions, decisions, then we have given away all our power while still fully responsible for all outcome. And of course, a Council is practical for small disputes and guidance with the wisdom of past lessons learned.
All this to say if this was taught in schools and homes by all humankind, the freedom and the responsibility given to each individual would be an incredible step forward in enriching all lives, human and otherwise. We could spend our energy on solving the problems of the helpless and troublemakers and such without losing our freedoms, or paying income tax, etc., yet pursuing happiness, personal goals and more.
I state this solely for the purpose of educating the populace of how the world actually works and anything outside this will always exact a price.

Once the legitimate purpose of the stop is over, they should just send you on your way. I would rather that someone who is guilty get away rather than an innocent person go to jail. Marker lights are not optional on that type of commercial vehicle, they must work. In some states, even self installed optional marker lights must work if they have been installed.

In 1989, my wife and I traveled for two and a half years around the country in a beat up 77 chevy, pulling a 1967 silverstreak camper trailer. Never once bothered by police. US border patrol agents hassled us every time we entered the US; Canada and Mexico border agents never bothered us. Seems we have gone backwards quite a bit after seeing this video and thousands of others. F'in glad we did it when we were young and could still travel freely in America!

I allowed cops in my vehicle before. I called their bluff and they let me go immediately. They didn't really want to search my vehicle, they wanted me to say something incriminating. I didn't act suspicious enough to warrant a follow through inspection.

I get pulled over, tell the police I am going to buy a tractor, i have an empty trailer behind my truck and the cops took my cash! I got the guy on the phone that had the tractor, cop wouldn't speak to him and I had the ad from Craigslist, he didn't care. It cost me 3 days of work and a lawyer to get my money back. They tried to only return part of it.

I got pulled over in Idaho on Route 90 by state patrol officer who told me that I had a light out but it seemed that when I got out of my van the light seem to be working so but it was one hell of a blizzard and I just couldn't even believe he stopped me tell me to get the light fixed and it was on. No ticket just felt a little harassed because I was driving a vehicle and I was the only one on the road and he said nobody else is driving tonight I said well maybe they didn't drive in Maine and New York like I did in the winter time
Same exact thing happened to me in Nebraska. I was on my way to a funeral in Iowa in a rental car. Brought the dog, cuffed me while they tore the car apart and damaged my suit. Fuck Nebraska.
Thats fine, we have enough low lifes moving here and traveling through, we don't need anymore.

@mld Few years ago I was going through a bad area and I have a nice car; one that you just don't see in that area. Got pulled over for no reason.. Said my license plate light was out. I could argue the point from inside because the car would tell me if it was.

I have to make fun of officers searching as many vehicles they can for narcotics. When thousands of acres of marijuana is growing in Oregon. Chemical processing to extract marijuana is taken place. Talent Oregon has thousands of acres growing next to I 5 near their location. That being said marijuana is a narcotic and illegal pursuant to Title 18 United States Code. Under federal law it’s illegal to grow. Under federal law it’s illegal to possess firearms while committing a crime . If Oregon enforced Federal Law. They could focus on arresting corporate growers in their home State. Instead of wasting gas and hoping to find a small amount of drugs in vehicles traveling on Oregon Roads.
