    I love the fact that you mod r50 minis... if you keep this up I'll be a FREQUENT viewer. Love the work

    I am putting this system on my R52. Spacers/or bending the middle pipe is recommended. Do you know what spacers I'd need? Cheers

    I've got the Resonated version on my little R50 sounds brilliant as well! Not bad for £50 off of eBay 😂

    Thanks Chris. Been wondering about replacing the exhaust and how easy it would be solo. What made you go for this over a non-resonated? Would be cool if you could add to your video description text what tools you use?

      Hi Adam, that's great I could help! I just didn't want the car to be too loud, plus a resonator reduces the rasp sound you can get with some exhausts. Just personal preference :) yeah I'll try do that in future!

      Chris' Bliss Builds finally got round to doing it after tearing my old one in a pothole. Wanted to say thanks. None resonated scorpion went on easily and your video really helped

    My Mini r50 has captive bolts on the back side of the flange plate. Is this normal.

    Cheers for this, I think I'll be replacing my 02's R50 OEM exhaust now.
    Any problems with the post/pre cat sensors doing this? 99% sure my engine light coming on is due to holes I can feel air from and the silencer wadding disintegrating.

      No problem with any engine lights, sounds like you have other issues with the system

    I have a mini R50, I've replaced certain body panels with the R53 body work but want to change the exhaust to an R53 also. Any tips on how to do this please? I've got the R53 centre bumper ready to put on just need to know if the exhaust will work.

    • @Christian_Rutherford
      @Christian_Rutherford  Před 4 lety +1

      Yes it is possible there is a rear undertray behind the r50 bumper on one side which would have to be removed but I believe you would need 1 or 2 exhaust hangers welded on to hold up the left hand side of the exhaust

    I had the hornet exhaust and had to take it off because it was way to loud, is this a nice sound or is it to loud?

    • @Christian_Rutherford
      @Christian_Rutherford  Před 3 lety +1

      Nice sound and only actually picks up in volume when you put your foot down, I can't stand super loud Exhuasts

    If you've got a low car, change the position of the clamps to the side just so you won't be smashing that as you're FUCKING driving along.
