@@Chris_GasolineGarage not a bad idea 😂😂 it sounds really mean with the ram air induction kit on it so I'll deffo have to try it that's if we ever come out of lockdown 👍🤙
Hi how crazy is this, i watched your original video and decided i want one so i bought one and it arrived yesterday and to day ironically enough i am fitting my brand new Hornet exhaust on my Mini Cooper Park Lane, i cant wait to have it sorted, great videos well done.....
I replaced the water pump and the brakes when I got it and in 6000 miles I have had no faults but I know people that have lol if it got that bad lol it would be gone haha
I actually have no idea I literally fired it up went down the road in it 😂 maybe some dust residue or something inside the exhaust itself from manufacturing
Did the car pass an mot with the exhaust fitted? and did you fit any additional silencers? just got one installed on my r50 and worried it might fail its mot...
It’s not to bad I like a loud car i don’t think it was to bad and it’s a nice sounding exhaust note but if you start the car late or early in the day and you have neighbours they might hate you after while haha
Change the fueling to a richer mix and/or do 10-15 minutes of high rpm driving to heat up the pipes. The pops come from unburnt fuel making it to the exhaust pipes and igniting there
Took mine off a week later well to loud basically a straight through pipe, to much drone on motorway , im going to use the stock exhaust and cut it top end and fit a 2.5" kracken muffler , still sound good without the terrible loudness.
For the same money you can get a supercharged’S’ why bother with a slower, less characterful car when the same money buys a better, more exciting car!?
The mini r50 and the mini r53 are vastly different cars. Different sound to them, different appeal and different strengths. The r50 is much lighter and agile (5 speed, no supercharger) and has a hearty engine sound, while the r53 is power and obviously faster.
Sounds good, fits the bumper very well, compliments the mini
for £150 I think its a bargain
I have just put my system on over the weekend it sounds great especially with my ram air filter thnx for the vid
That’s good mate I bet it does it’s really good in a multi-storey car park definitely give it ago 👍🏻😂

Can i buy any type of hornet for this?

It’s not too bad to be honest, there is a very slight drone
Is this with hornet manifold too or from cat back?
It’s from the cat back
@@Chris_GasolineGarage amazing thanks. Sounds amazing
Is this a auto or manual?
Manual
Do they sell the exhaust without the silencer just the exhaust tip so straight pipe? I need one bad lol

Does it pop? or can i make it pop somehow
Yes do a muffler delete. Check out my channel on the 2005 r50 muffler delete.

True yeah but at the time my girlfriend drove it and it was £1200 more on insurance for her
