I use the both lighting s6 i the are use ful and easy of use, thanks for putting me up on these over a year ago they work flawless and the price makes it worthwhile, made a good return on my investment without breaking the bank.
I concur - good lights for the price. I bought 6 of the 6x18 and 4 of the 9x18 all in white, from molight on EBay. Very good price - took about 3 weeks to ship from China. Only had one minor issue with one light - wiring harness slipped partially off not allowing blue color to illuminate but easily fixed myself. Highly recommend.

I noticed that there is a S6 and S4, 6 vs 4 LEDs but the 6 is more common online. In some cases I really cant find the 4. I was wondering if you or anyone knew the difference between the 2 and why you went with the one you did.

16 uplights
I've owned 26 of the LE2036A for 4 years and they are the second light he spoke about and they work well. My contact is Lyric Chen with Both Lighting and I'm in Atlantic Canada. I also own 8 ADJ Mega Tri Par Profile Pulses and 8 ADJ Mega Hex Pars. The major difference is the battery option with the Both Lighting LEDS but I've also noticed the colors of the two companies don't match. So if you plan on mixing them together for events keep that in mind. I've managed to alternate colors when mixing in the two different companies but you won't be able to match the colors to each other. It's tough to beat the prices and I've been telling DJs this for years.

How would you compare the lights with Chauvet Freedom Pars or ADJ Element Hex's?

Great video! Could you comment on the “sound active” mode? Do they just cycle through colors in sync with the music or do they “pulse”? How does it compare to the ape labs maxi?
I can't really comment on sound active mode because I don't use it. As for Ape Labs, they are much nicer, Ferrari of uplighting, but will cost considerably more too.

Joe, I want more uplights for wash/uplighting. Why would I choose one over the other. Both Lighting S4 vs Rockville Rockwedge or the 6RF.
I can't say. I just know that the chinese Both Lighting ones have been good to me for years, esp at the price point they are at.

hello Joe I am purchasing the uplights from the l.a. office my only question is would you recommend the S4 or the S6 ..I know one has more lumens but less angle projection what's your honest opinion on the slight differences and the ideal way to go? thank you for your input as always🎧🎶
I use the 4 but only because that's what I started with and want all 100 to be the same.

Hi Joe, my order of 12 S6 from both lighting just got here. It works fine with the remote. The issue I have is connecting it to my ADJ Airstream DMX Bridge.
The light wifi is on, it's set to 10Ch, I created a Generic fixture with 10ch, address is set to the same ID, but the light is not responding. Any ideal? Thanks.
Not sure about that one. Post in some dj groups on Facebook and see if anyone has the same configuration
I bought the s4 minis, but having trouble getting them to work in master/slave. I'm using a ADJ dmx bridge, wireless donner transmitter to wireless dongle which I plug into the master s4 mini, but the slaves don't follow the master. And all the slaves are on the same wireless channel, using A001 and the master on D001 (starting address). Anyone had the same problem (or similar) and solved?
Hi Joe, I am considering these......Do they have internal recievers to recieve DMX? i( AM new to uplighting like these) or do you need individual recievers for each light??
Yes, dmx is built in.
How loud is the fan noise? If a dozen or so were to be used in a classical music concert, will there be a perceptible hum in the room? Thanks!

I've been considering these ever since Logan Smith talked about his, and I saw Rick Web's video about them also. I think I'm pretty much sold now :) Quick question: You're able to wirelessly DMX these with Showxpress so they're controlled the same as you control your Chauvet moving heads?
Correct, all on Showxpress and Microsoft surfact tablet. Sam Luba lighting@thedjsvault.com can literally handle all of this for you for a small fee. He is awesome.

Thanks for the video Joe! We have purchased a couple of different versions of uplights from China, and the one issue I always seem to find is that they don't have battery meters on the display, so you can't tell if they're fully charged or not. Did you have this issue with any of these lights by chance?

I think it's around 8 hours

What do you mean?
Any known issues using the app with the S6? I read a comment from someone under another video saying that there is. The app control is specifically why I'm considering the S6. I certainly would be not be happy if the app doesn't work well with a set of 20 S6s.
Then don't get these If you aren't going to use soundswitch or some sort of DMX controller.
@@DJJoeBunn So BOTH have 2 videos showing using the app being used and it seems like it works instantly when you change the color or the scene. Have you had experience with the app and can say that it for sure does not work well? And if it doesn’t, can you elaborate?
zero experience. I just wouldn't count on something like that with an $89 fixture. You get what you pay for.

How do these compare to the Rockville Rockwedge? I can get 6 Rockwedges in a charging case for $700.

The rockwedge will not have the same battery life and if I am not mistaken the leds are not as bright as the ones Joe is referring too.
