@@gothia1715not true it still buffs accuracy. They can't fix it. It's how the code works in the current way guns work.

I bought this a few days ago and the accuracy is now amazing, its definitely the best leg mod to date.

It was definitely enjoyable seeing all these nice salvos, but to be honest I dont even care about Petro anymore, I wish they would buff Sevastopols Heal to a shorter time being active and to a short Cooldown and maybe buffing the deck armor to 38mm, damn that would be awesome.
Depends on how you take the damage. You took HE from Goliath and fires which would be healed with high efficiency but that was his mistake to begin with.
I don't play Petro too often to know, but if you find yourself taking damage from overmatching BBs and occasional torpedo, extra heal is disposable.
Played against you in a random yesterday. You crushed us. U sat in one cap and bow tanked the entire match 😊
Yeah I been playing this and accuracy is AMAZING, but I've been wondering about outnumbered with it.

It's decent but I disagree that it's the best. Far from it imo. Range mod gives Petro similar dispersion below 15km without removing 1 of each consumables. Petro is one of the few ships in the game on which I use all of my consumables in most battles so losing them is a huge downside and 10% AP damage is way to small to compensate for it
Yea its not worth the cost. The loss of consumables is too big of a nerf just to gain what the range mod was already largely doing. Seems like the people that are saying how amazing the accuracy is now with it, were usng the reload mod prior.
Range mod does not improve dispersion, it simply adds range and increases dispersion accordingly.
@@Peter_472 Some ships like Petro or Napoli have special dispersion formula. They have very good dispersion up to a certain point, and after this point the dispersion starts to increase rapidly. Range mode shifts this point by several km, so instead of having good dispersion up to 12km, Petro has good dispersion up to 14-15km with it
@@Artem_Shepelev Again, this is only partially true. The horizontal dispersion is not affected at all by any range increase. For petro the formula is hDisp = range * 9.5 + 15. The maximum range does not affect it. It does slightly lower the vDisp, but for an almost negligable amount. If you dont believe me, try it yourself with wows shipbuilder.
@@Peter_472 In no way, shape or form the amount by which it lowers dispersion is negligible. The difference is like night and day
ok, so accuracy is so nice. my first T10 Cruiser was des moines and its firerate is amazing, but my second was zao and tbh I like it more.
zao just isnt very good in beeing shot at. so ill keep an eye on Petro
This vid is 6 mo old now and while the Petro with Legendary mod was a Citadel machine for a short while, it no longer is imho. I haven't gone through the change logs on the Petro to confirm but they have for sure nerfed it to the point where I question whether it is still worth it..
I don't have the Unique upgrade yet but it will be the next one I get. This completely changes the dynamics of this ship.
Save your points. Get the range mod instead which gives most of the accuracy buff, longer range and no consumable hit.
@@junkiexl86 Already tried that. I can't directly compare it yet but it seems clear from the three players I've seen so far that the accuracy increase is quite a bit more significant, plus you get 10% increase in AP damage as well. I agree the consumables nerf is bad and I can't say if it it's worth it for me, but I suspect it will be.
@@dany1441 The accuracy increase is significant...if coming from the reload mod, which 95% of players use. Hence why everyone is so "oMg tHe AcCurAcY" now. Still, its not worth the points. Range mod gives most of the accuracy buff of UU and the Heavy AP commander perk gives most its damage, not that 7-10% damage buff is that meanigful, but I digress. I bought the upgrade and within 3 matches I already had buyers remorse and the loss of the consumabales is a big nerf. Im not doing any better than I was with range mod.

Apparently after a bunch of research people on reddit found out that the Range mod has 7% better dispersion overall so i dont know if this UU is worth it.
I dont think it is. The people claiming that the accuracy is "amazing" now with UU, were more than likely using the reload mod prior (like most people it seems) which has a hidden dispersion penalty, much like the range mod has a hidden dispersion buff.
I do have my reservations about the Legendary Upgrade, losing consumables is a big deal. Kremlin had a similar drawback but they removed it recently because they saw it as unnecessary. But we shall see

I played against this thing early today, while trying to understand the Henry iv.
I made me give up on the Henry, the travel time past like 18 KMs feels miserable.
Yea Russian cruisers spoil you. I remember grinding the line to T10 then hopping into the Atlanta for an Operation (Cherry Blossom iirc) and couldnt hit anything lol.
Henri is still a good ship though, Its playstyle is different than Russians is all.
Do keep in mind that range mod give you better vertical dispersion than UU.

I can see this being advantageous in co-op, where the loss of one consumable charge doesn't matter as much across a short battle.
I have petro, but where do you get that legendary upgrade from? I can‘t find it in the armory
You have to own 5 T10 ships to unlock research bureau which includes ships to purchase and all additional mods.

I always ran the range mod on my Petro (and Moskva) and honestly never really suffered the accuracy issues everyone claims Petro to have. I mean Im not expecting to land 9 shells at 20km away to begin with. Im on the fence with this UU. The loss of consumables hurts.

No, Petro in CB is supposed to be an unsinkable Gimmickstick to lock down a flank. You loose on both with legmod.
Faster turret traverse, solid salvos & higher shell damage ...I'll gladly lose the reload for consistent volleys. As for the tankyness, it is a shame but in cbs where you alternate cap control it won't be that bad unless you got really long games.
petro usually is banned in cbs...

I almost exclusively use cruisers now, i dont know if its true, but it feels like BBs have far worse dispersion than when I started playing 2 years ago.
I used to love using my Vincent and Jean Bart but the amount of over pens and broadside overshots/short shots has just become too fruatrating. Not to mention brawling in random battles is an almost certain death sentence

I think so. Though sheer match impact the Petro has in spades over Napoli. I love both ships though.

@@haydentytler5981 It really is. You get most of the accuracy buff already while not losing the consumables with the range mod. Most of my Petro matches I am out or almost out of my consumables, having 1 less is a huge nerf. Since the range mod has a hidden 7% buff to dispersion, I lose far more than I gain with UU.

I always consider Pietro best in dodging what looks like sure citadel hits... That low profile... when play it ppl always complain "stop manouvering so we can hit you"... And damage? Well, i found Marseille to be very devastating lately...
Still waiting for WG to unearth non-Russian ship blueprints that are also perfectly designed for 20 minute engagements in dead calm water against 12 opponents. Maybe they'll also include a waterline is too low for open ocean, engines and guns that are so overcharged they need to be replaced every 20 minutes, radar so strong and fast it blows out the ships electronics after 5 uses, and superstructure so small the crew sleeps on the deck and eats whatever they catch off the side.

true, while at that remove at least 40% of the ships from Germany, make Bismarck even more inaccurate cause she break her own radar with her guns, make Scharnhorst + Atago + Alaska sink with their freeboard cause they share the same height as pre nerf Petro. How does that sound?
How to get this ship ?
Ship? Its the T10 of the Russian heavy cruiser tech tree line. The legendary upgrade is in the Research Bureau tab of the Armory. You unlock that after researching your 5th T10.
Used to be Moskova , What happened to it ?
Where is that line ? I tried but I couldn't find the Russian Heavy cruiser line . I remember tier 10 used to be Moskova.

Watching Petro's fantasy 8.5" guns citadel battleships and cruisers at range so effortlessly and consistently really frustrates me as a battleship player. Especially when you compare the gun performance of petro's 8.5" guns to a ship like Scharnhorst with its 11" guns. It is hilarious that Wargaming has given Scharnhorst guns 332 mm of penetration at 12km and Petro has 490 mm of penetration at the same distance. Not to mention Petro's improved penetration angles.

Subs are really ruining a lot of fun for me the last couple of weeks... You can just do jack shit against them. I'm playing less and less games, think I'm going to quit altogether soon, sad.
