- Gato - American special premium Tier X submarine. The U.S. Navy High Command conceived that "fleet submarines" were to complement the sluggish conventional battleships. With a high surface speed, heavy armament, and long operational range, they were supposed to conduct reconnaissance and finish off enemy ships once artillery duels between battleships ceased. However, after the attack on Pearl Harbor, their strategy changed, and a new type-Gato-was geared for extended patrols. Comfortable for their crews, these submarines carried a large fuel supply and torpedoes. USS Gato was laid down in October 1940 and commissioned in December 1941. The submarine conducted thirteen combat missions, earning the same number of battle stars and the Presidential Unit Citation.

Subs wouldn’t need a buff if they were accurate. 21 knots surface not 33.8
9 knots submerged not 23….
The torpedo reload time and salvo speed….
Make them realistic like the surface ships and the issue resolves itself

@@fedupgamer9075 that is exactly the problen. Why are they still in the game as they are? Give them 50% of the hp they have now. Or make it that they can only fire torpedoes if they have a ping so they cannot shotgun. Something needs to happen because you cannot fight them in a surface ship
Can't wait to see all the tears when subs are nerfed into the ground. Whether you want to admit it or not, these do not belong in the game in their current state.

They are the weakest class in the game by FAR
they have good concealment and speed, but they lack survivability and unlimited damage control with a low cooldown, the only way to outmaneuver a DC is to turn, and its impossible when ur detected, because it's already way too close. U might've been there when the CVs were absolutely OP, if u were, the subs seem balanced(I was there before the CVs got nerfed to the point where they were practically useless)

Subs are brutal fast and you need special weaponary to fight them. You can easily get out of any Danger by pressing a button.
In every Game i try out all classes. WOWS is a exception; subs are so broken, its Not a Class. Ist is and will remain a stupid Idea. Regardles of your 1000 Ballance trys
