Remember kids, always sit broadside on to enemy ship because their shells will always overpen these days. You only get citadels on angled ships somehow.

Seattle does have quite a trolly hull, really the only good thing about it

@@EvoraGT430 it's not a bug brother, in fact it's a good thing, it shows that the armor and shell bounce mechanics work correctly.

the ship designs is more similar to Riga, so its a super Riga
It is, since it's a large cruiser, it's a Riga with 15cm light cruiser guns.

I was talking about the secondaries. Can actually hurt some cruisers and destroyers.
It also has some 35 mm plating like Riga, though that's more of an issue at T12 than T9.
one thing tho, World of Warships looks stunning. like can we take a moment to appreciate the art department especially at timestamp 5:47 where the moon illuminates the night sky and moonlight falls on the water and on the hull of the Novosibirsk. anyways great video PQ I look forward to the grind to get the Novosibirsk :)

Novosibirsk looks oddly similar to Kronstadt,but the guns are as deadly as if you played a battleship
But from what i noticed..it does not have one gimmick which petro has...and that is the rear 360 degrees turret rotation
All Petro main turrets rotate 360, not just rear.
Lot of overpen tho
Novo is supposed to be a kronshtadt pre-draft

All these soviet ships are really beautifully designed especially the maroon color on deck.
When you get to make up a ship's design you can make it as aesthetically pleasing as you want.
Profile looks like an emlarged Kutuzov. Kinda like it!

@@blackyyy3292 But not 360 turret rotation, worse rudder, turning radius, 35mm side armor not 40mm...so yeah it will probably be better, that AP pen is crazy. But not better in everything. Also you can't use kuznetsov without retraining and it eats credits like every super ship...
@BigD321 This ship doesn't fill any roles that Petro can not at all. Of course, superships' roles in general are questionable but I think this ship will not be able to fill the role of Petro's in the first place. I also think the raised and vulnerable citadel and worse handling is not a good tradeoff for overmatching light cruisers and 1.5sec reload. I'm off better with my Petro than this. For me it is better and I will 100% not buy this. Period.
There's no need to argue with someone random on the internet and about an imaginary ship imo...
You lose armor (35mm upper belt), sit higher in the water, larger superstructure, worse turret angle, no 360 turrets, worse concealment, worse handling.
It's more of the case of do you want more fire power in exchange for tankiness and flexibility?

try range mode. this makes the vertical dispersion of Novosibirsk and Petro better than "legendary" Mosck, up to 14km and better than Stalin up to 16km.

Hey PQ, now that we’ve seen the end of the Russian heavy cruiser line, I’d like your opinion. I’ve got enough coal for a commander and credits for a T10. Would you pick Kuznetzov and the Petro line or Sansonetti/Venezia?
Which nation do you play more of, Russian or Italian?
Kuznetsov. You can use it later on Moskva/ Stalingrad. All great ships. Venezia is a good ship but I like russian ships more. You have radar and hydro which is very usefull in random games.
Not a fan about your decision to NOT use ASW to help Republique out on spotted sub, just to keep your guns on Seatle.
Was the sub out of your ASW range?
PQ Please try range mod on the petro or this thing. The Russian heavy cruisers are using a weird vertical dispersion parameter, and makes them having bad vertical spread in long ranges. I am not trying to convince people to snipe on the back, but it makes a world of difference around 16-17KM on petro.

In terms of some armor parts and turrets definitely but it has a lot of improvements like the better reload. Most important thing is the CL Overmatch so Mino's just cant laugh at you anymore
@@nicz7694 Mino never laugh at me in Petro :-) Its easy kill.
@@vitezslavlorenc3479 Broadside yes but if you sit halfway bow in you can bounce petro shells while farming his Superstructure without any issue. With the short-fuze AP you are mostly doing full pens to him aswell and even when his structure is saturated you are doing decent damage. The sheer DPM is just too good and you still have your 16 torps if he tries something.
I laughed on so many Petro's as Mino with this and as Petro by myself I know how Ugly It can be if the Mino guy has map awareness :D
With the Overmatch of the Supercruiser it won't be as much fun as it is now :-)

how do you take those bullshit dispersions so well, the inconsistence in this game is really turning me away, full accuracy build and my shots still going out like fire sprinkle, that just frustrating
At this point the Russians have given themselves a better digital navy, as they have to compensate for all their military failure.
The Russian, and Soviets, frequently had excellent engineering designs over the years. It stands to reason they would have great paper ships. Just don't make the mistake of thinking those pieces of paper will do the job in a real war!
We do agree, that we don't like it and hate everyone, who is playing it, don't we?
Seems to be objectively worse than Annapolis, Conde, and Edgar. Those three are extremely strong, while this thing seems fairly well balanced.

Nova sibersk is how you pronounce it.
Новосибирск is a city, near the urals. Rather large city too.
Хабаровск is pronounced habarovsk.
For russian words only one vowel is hard, the others become soft. Hope this helps

These ships are bad for the game.
Its doesnt have any f u keys though right? So its a more natural tier 11 ship. Could you imagine a Super Petro and it had the same F key as a Annapolis or Edgar?
@@robbailie5878 It's more of a tier 10 than a tier 11. it just has a lot of pen....but otherwise there really isn't anything about it to set it apart from being a tier 10 cruiser.
People saying tier 11s are bad for the game are weird, with that logic tier 10 are bad for the game cause they bully lower tier ships.
