This is the video of the game Donkey Kong Country, platform game in 2D developed by Rare and published by Nintendo for the SNES in November of 1994. In Japan this game is called Super Donkey Kong.
Starring the character Donkey Kong, the game takes place on "Donkey Kong Island" where six regions with different environments are explored, and the plot revolves around Donkey Kong and his nephew Diddy Kong, who must recover their treasure of bananas stolen by King K. Rool and the Kremlings. After checking the empty banana hiding place, located just below his house in Kongo Jungle, Donkey Kong embarks on an adventure in his native land, Donkey Kong Island. While collecting bananas in different regions of the island, Donkey Kong must defeat several enemies, including the reptilian Kremlings, as well as other dangerous creatures native to the island. Helping him in his quest are some of the other Kongs in the family: Diddy accompanies Donkey Kong on his adventure, Cranky provides tips (and comic relief), Candy operates the recording points around the island, and Funky provides transportation. Also supporting Donkey Kong on certain occasions are several 'animal colleagues' (the Rambi rhino, the Exotic Ostrich, the Enguarde swordfish, the Winky frog, and the Parrot Squawks), each with different abilities.
After an intense advertising campaign, the original version for the SNES sold more than 9 million copies, making it the second best selling game on the platform. The game was a revolution in graphics for its time, the first to contain 32 megabits in the Super Nintendo cartridge, with pre-rendered textures in 3D models and a great soundtrack, proving that the SNES was still a strong competitor in the market . It is undoubtedly an incredible game! The entire video was made finding all bonus stages and K-O-N-G letters, totaling 101% of the percentage.! - Hry

This game just holds so much sentimental value to me. Me and my mom used to play this as a kid and when I herd the we’re level music I started crying. Love this game❤️

Always remember reading the reviews in either Club Nintendo or the official Nintendo magazine and thinking blimey, this game is graphically miles ahead of anything. RaRe really were the best developers Nintendo had, every game they released was gold. Especially during the N64 era.
I used to play this game all the time as a kid , I would wake up in the morning and go straight to this game 🤩
This is really well done my first Donkey Kong game was Donkey Kong country returns and when the switch came out twitch the Snes entertainment system came with all 3 Donkey Kongs I have no idea what to do but I played until I I understand the controls and to today your playthrough is wanting me to 101% it.

I don't know why, but I remember in Jungle Hijinx there was a red balloon, a green balloon and a blue balloon further in the tree line. But it looks now that it is not in any of the videos I've watched on youtube. I do remember they were there because I never knew there were two blue balloons at the end of the level. Maybe I was playing another version of DKC?
They are probably different reviews of the same game. I recorded this video with version 1.0 USA, you must have played a later version.

One of the first titles to feature pre-rendered graphics, Silicon Graphics said it all.
Now this is a game that shows off much of what the SNES is capable of in the right hands.

Also to anyone who may not know.. in the ostrich bonus level where you collect as many little ostriches as you can, if you go to that big wall at the far end and jump up over the wall then run across there is a 2x multiplier

Oh my God! I love this game so much. My dad and I would play it all the time. No sweet and nostalgic.
I played this so much in my middle school years and I never knew there was a ground pounding move DK does by slapping ground, how is this done? Love all your long play videos, if I ever get stuck on a certain part of game I always watch how you always give these retro games a second life. 😎👍

Same goes for the rhino bonus level. If you jump across the very top and make it to the far right side, there's a 2x thing there also. Need a little extra time to get over there though so I'd do like a quick run as fast as ya can to the right and back to the start and then go for it right away
Gosh this is one of my favorite game in the snes plus is was so cool that Smash bros Ultimate recreated the kongo Jungle map in world of light adventure mode which gave me nostalgic and also......

Which emulator are you running at 4K 60fps?
The animal token bonus areas each have a large token that doubles your current token total when you touch it. This can double how many extra lives you get.
When you fight Queen B, it's better to use Diddy Kong, because he holds the barrel in front of him like a shield. It is possible to beat the bee with Donkey Kong, but more difficult.

Can someone help me? in this phase of the final boss, in the last part (in the very last part, after the message appears on the screen, at the minute of this video at 1:51:00) when he starts jumping, I can't dodge. I've seen in some videos the person passing under him when he jumps, but I can't do it at all. I always end up bumping into him and dying. Can someone help me? I've been stuck on this for months.

Good to see you merely posted your comment 8 days ago; I keep asking the same question, to videos of this 28 year old game (exactly how old it’ll be next month), which no one responds to. Hacking this game is definitely not something I’d be skilled / trained in, myself (I definitely wouldn’t be a pro / expert in video game hacking, one of the most complicated things to do). It isn’t something that someone could just sit and read a book, about how to do. If I knew anyone who knew how to do this, I’d tell them what changes I want made, to this game.
Did you know you csn skip half the level by going back out the entrance as soon as you enter the level. Turn around and walk back out , haha just be ready to run like hell and jump a bit when you pop ahead in the level . Think it puts you at like the last one or two stop n go barrels

Yes, I plan to record this trilogy in GBA version. There are several requests, so it is difficult to remember who asked. I still need to find a place here on CZcams just for requests, so that it's easy for me to remember and stay organized, but I also allow requests in the comments without any problems.

Anyway how much time did You spend for 'the' "XENOGEARS!!!!!!"??
For Xenogears I took about 3 months to record. And another month to do the whole encode, since my video card is a simple and already obsolete, Zotac GeForce 210, and Bizhawk starts to get heavy to give load when the input movie is too big.

Only saw the first time it was done so far, I'm watching your play through. Did you not know there's a x2 wayyyy at the far end when you're doing the ostrich bonus level? I always did the same way you did, fly back and forth through each section then jump to the next, and if you manage the time right you can get over the wall at the very far side of the level, and there's a giant ostrich that gives you 2x whatever you've collected 😀 again, I only saw your first run at the ostrich bonus level so if you did know, sorry or being a know it all lol. I used to absolutely love this game. Still do
Also if you go in stop and go station then turn around and go back out the entrance it's a short cut lol
If you wanna start with 50 lives also, go to the save screen and go down to erase game.. stay on the erase game option, then press B A R R A L :)

I'm doing it, but the problem is that they are huge games and the process of encode (post-production) long games is quite time consuming, apart from that my internet connection is not the best. I also have social life, work and professional duties.
