WB need to realise that Cavill was never the issue, it was Snyder and his direction that didn’t gel with the average movie goer.

It's always 2 good seasons. Rest are garbage and if u are lucky you'll get one more good season at like season 5 or 6 or maybe 8 cause they will drag this show out
The Arrowverse shows just feel like teen soap operas. Basically, CW shows. The melodrama is just so unbearable. Went back for Crisis & I was like, yeah I'm glad I bailed
Also, People being wowed by Superman & Lois but forget that Arrow & The Flash had amazing first 2 seasons. They just become regular CW shows after a season or 2
@@ThreadBomb For me, The Flash season 1 is one of the best darn seasons of any ComicBook show. Also, that Pilot episode was my favorite of all the ComicBook shows until Doom Patrol unseated it. But hey, to each their own
I’d really like some of his Superman stuff to be just stopping casual crimes of normal criminals and not always Supervillains because I think that was a nice scene of Flash Episode 1 just him beating a random mugger in a silly way where I don’t think apart of every episode has to be a fight with the big villain or a big villain and could just be doing some mystery solving work about it that gets interrupted by like his super hearing hearing a crime happening near by where he has to save someone from normal criminals real quick.

The premiere was around 1hr. The Cw had a 2hr event meaning people had to wait through almost an entire hour of commercials
Re: new Superman. I don't think Calvin Ellis would be a great idea, precisely because he's written as the President, as well as being sort-of modelled on Obama. That immediately adds an extra political dimension to an already loaded character choice. Val-Zod could work a LOT better, because as I recall he steps in to become the Earth's second Superman (in that particular universe) after Clark Kent/Kal-El gets corrupted by Darkseid. So that would potentially give us a story that both incorporates Henry Cavill AND ties in to the soon-to-be-no-longer-legendary Snyder Cut. (Also, showdown between evil Kal-El and Zod's son! Who probably knows about the whole neck-snapping thing!) I'd be totally on board for that story.
I think he is revealed the Darkseid controlled Superman was just a clone or a version fo Bizarro. I think Earth 2 Superman was just killed alongside WW and Batman

But as I recall, they do end up finding the original Clark Kent, still alive, who then sacrifices himself to destroy Darkseid's remaining clones of him ... I think ... Still, I thought that was a terrific story, and some variation of that could be awesome to see in a movie introducing Val-Zod.

Coming back to this after having watched a little over half of Superman & Lois so far, I have to say they've really succeeded in giving both characters their due. They're both running the plot pretty equally, but if I'd have to pick one, I'd say Lois is almost more prominent, and she's badass

Avatar: TLA is brilliant. I actually enjoyed the first season of Korra. Second season felt like such a chore. Bailed like halfway through the season.

I think Superman and Lex in Superman and Lois will end up teaming up in the future against Superboy Prime where it is the original son they sent off in Crisis Survived and went insane from ending up surviving in a small pocket universe and had a blue star or a white dwarf star that’s why he’s so much more powerful and the pocket universe is why he’ll age up a lot with its own time rules

now that its on HBO max ive been binging. Im a huge superman fan and I have to say this show so far is wonderful. Episodes 1-3 have been super solid. Really good and well written drama. Theres some dated bully stuff but on a whole the family and people of smallvile are really interesting and well written. Loving it

I think Lex Luthor could be good in this and from a universe similar to injustice universe where his world was destroyed and he was in a fight with a good Superman that turned bad which is why he’s luring Superman and using it to watch him and write messages instead of actually committing atrocities to get Superman in a fight and letting Superman solve things to learn more before he does fight him and wants to stop him before in his mind becomes like the Evil Superman from his universe. I think it’d be really interesting if he becomes a good guy by the end as in like another Superman but probably be arrested for messing with nuclear power plant but sets it up where he can team up with Superman later kind of like when Deathstroke teamed up with Green Arrow in Arrow.

I was never a fan of wrestling. Over the past couple of years I have come to find that there is a lot of crossover in the vin diagram of comic books, manga, and wrestling fandoms. A few CZcams channels that go into this are Cartoonist Kayfabe and Super Eyepatch Wolf. Like I said, I never cared for wrestling, but I can watch a video by Super Eyepatch Wolf that can leave me in tears for the characters and backstory in wrestling.

There's the Rock vs John Cena Wretlemania 28 match which is Cena's highest grossing and most prolific match. Although not an old match, I would Suggest John Cena vs Bray Wyatt in a "Firefly Funhouse" match from Wrestlemania 36, a bizarre match done during the pandemic era, I think this one would be perfect to watch with little context.

I think a movie that reminds me of another movie is Bladerunner 2049. I think it's crazy that a sequel 30 years on really captures the feel of the original in a way that can successfully move shit on.

I think it'd be cool if DC did elseworld stories with other people playing characters like they have kinda done with Joker and what looks to be The Batman which they'd have over the MCU like folding Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan Batman inclusive of DCEU, Cause who they've cast i think suit the roles, maybe even CW cause unlike marvel they didn't have to buy back their properties.
