The announcement for Rogue Squadron on the website says ‘a future era’ and the logo is a sequel trilogy X-Wing not an original trilogy one. So I think it will be set after Rise of Skywalker, or at least around then.

Anyone else think that at the end of Nobody, they’ll reveal that it takes place in the John Wick universe? Like how Split ended and it revealed how Split and Unbreakable were related. In a later movie, Mr. Nobody and John Wick might even team-up to take down the remaining members of the High Table, although that’s unlikely unless they kill Mr. Nobody’s family.
Theory: Wanda vision is the 2 weeks where Scarlet witch and vision went “off coms” pre endgame. Was a plan of Wandas to escape to an alternate reality she creates by accident and they spend their time trying to escaped her own reality.

Seems like Rogue Squadron is an original idea influenced by the games and books. It's too bad it took this long. The X-Wing books are great. You got Wedge rebuilding Rogue Squadron and the guy from Jedi who says "copy rogue leader" suddenly being an amazing pilot. It's a good series. The "Jedi Academy" trilogy is really good as well. That would've made a better sequel trilogy. Luke flies round the galaxy finding new Jedi to rebuild the Order and Han and Chewie get taken prisoner on Kessel and have to work in the spice mines. Takes place right around the time of The Mandalorian. Except it's no longer canon. Still solid stories.

Cyberpunk is great you guys, the reviews aren't doing it justice. It does take a couple hours to get thru the prologue, but it is REALLY good. Try it, I dare you, haters...

the character you buddy up with via the montage doesn't last thru the prologue, so, uh, maybe not a total loss not grinding with him for hours building up buddydom?

Cyberpunk 2077 is alright, there is plenty to do, it definitely feels lived in but the performance hasn't been great for me. With that said people have over-hyped the fuck out of themselves for this game, where as I have gone in blind and i'm really enjoying the story and the side missions are actually quite fun to play.
The montage is in the prologue of the game, the prologue lasted for like 2 hours for me!
i think you could do a short round tv series... maybe have him be estranged from indy and then indy goes missing and shorty has to find him it'd allow it to be about their relationship while keeping indy's role minimal, just bring ford back for a few cameos...
if anyone would be indy's successor it should be short round..
IJ5.... just like when IJ4 was coming, I see no reason why this would be bad but i don't have high hopes.... TBH i am mostly annoyed at IJ4 for being such waste of potential. indy as a father figure has so much interesting potential considering his relationship to his father... last crusade is a fun adventure romp but it has that emotional core to it...

disney released tentative plans for the next 4 years.... they do this EVERY year, and it always sounds good. the obi wan show was supposed to be out BEFORE the mandalorian.
Just wanted to post some constructive criticism, cause I love you guys and been listening to y'all for 2 years now. Your more recent episodes seem to be heavily favoring comedy over content. And don't get me wrong, I think y'all are laugh-out-loud hilarious, but I also love to hear your opinions on things. For example, in this video, when James brought up Ahsoka, I was curious to hear what you think would be in that series, but the whole bit covered a joke of what wouldn't be in it (bigger Palaptine), and then once Mason finished the bit, y'all moved on to the next topic. So a lot was said, but very little was discussed. And I get that you may not have much to discuss on just one poster, but I'd rather that be said up front, than trying to compromise the quality with a sketch that goes nowhere. Anyhow, with all this news, you guys are definitely gonna have jobs till the end of time, so here's to the next decade of Weekly Planets

not particularly excited for the obi wan series. His story was already in so many star wars content. It's already a satisfying ending with maul in rebels before episode 4.
Not that Warner bros isn’t an evil capitalist institution, but I’m not 100% sure THEY put these movies on HBOMAX... that might be more a decision by AT&T, who owns both WB and HBOMAX (again, I’m not defending WB, they probably ruined the New Zealand film industry, they’re monsters, but this monstrosity might not be on them)

I hope the guys play Cyberpunk, It's really good, the gripes Mason had mostly aren't true and more people being disappointed in reviews like people were disappointed with Avengers Endgame somehow. I know people keep comparing it to Witcher 3 but its a lot more like a Skyrim/GTA5 mashup. I don't think the Cyberpunk deserves the crap its getting outside the glitches, that's 100% something games should sort out to a negligible glitch rate before releasing a game. That's a problem across the medium, not giving a pass, but I'm not surprised about that part.
Idc what anybody says the unfiltered quality and ignorance of the CHARACTERS on it's always sunny is what made us great I wish people didn't take what the dumbass characters say as the actual views of the producers it's just annoying when people act like them cleaning up one of the most lovable crude shows is somehow a good thing I haven't seen a lot of the new seasons but I remember that the earlier seasons were always better because of how ridiculous it is
