Growing up in the Bay Area, Palo Alto and Redwood CIty, in the 70 and 80s, this i remember every commercial.. Brings you back in time. When life made sense, things got done and everyday was a great day.
I miss the old days.
WOW!!!! This took me WAYYYYYYYY BACK! ❤❤❤❤
This is like my childhood baby sitter San Francisco 😂😁😆😊
About a decade before The Men's Wearhouse started going national.
My home town
Thx
The fragments of the ABBA video reminds me of watching channel 20 back in 1980 and seeing a "video-they're popular in Europe," after a broadcast of a movie; it was the first time I heard of them as such.
Xennial, where did you get these? I was KOFY's Commercial Director/Producer. These bring back great memories!
Appreciate the kind words Robert, always nice hearing from people who were involved in these too! This came from one of my grandpa's tapes I was luckily able to save.
Cool! Loved your station. Great times!
alot of legends at that bar
I was bored and looked up nearly every business advertising in this video...some still in business! Not many though.
We’ve got what you’re looking for! TV 20! Yep I’m old 😂
You don't need to have been alive in 84 to appreciate it though. And let's say 1979 are about the youngest to remember it firsthand, 43 is still kinda young these days
I really miss the old UHF stations! They had great programming and personality.
KOFY's Twighlight Zone marathon was a must see and Paul from the Diamond Center. Haven't seen his face on tv for years. Is he still alive?
Yes!!! Also TV 44 leave it to Beaver and all the TV stations
George Zimmerman did. Wikipedia said he did the commercials in 1986. Tells you not to trust them
Zimmer
😂😂 twisted
Thx for this entire upload man! I know u uploaded the commercials only before but this is cool you uploaded the entire Sunday movie episodes. On a side note...I just realized James Gabbert comes of a bit homosexual lol. Random but it was almost like he was flirting with both some of the guys And women...idk maybe just me. Hes still a Legend tho.
You come across a bit heterosexual. What a bizarre comment. It’s like looking at the clear sky and noticing it’s blue. It’s 2019, not 1962.
@@RockinDaBoombox You sound a bit offended...as if you're homosexual.
He doesn’t sound like he is a homosexual. Maybe bisexual or maybe not. The only way that I can tell if you are a homosexual is if you are pretty flamboyant.
any idea on which show ABBA performed that time?
Do you have anymore videos on Tony Kilbert on KOFY??
James cabret looks like Larry king
Gabbert
He had a head full of hair
