I congratulated the Actor who played Art, because people fainting and getting sick and i told him that exorcist levels of Horror. He did an amazing job
In All Hallows Eve the one segment with the scuba diving alien that woman's husband also drew Art The Clown for some crazy reason.
The father having visions of Art the Clown could be a callback to the second story of All Hollows Eve with the aliens. because in that one the main character's husband has this big painting of Art.
So you know what that means.....we might get dem Aliens in Terrifier 3
The little clown girl was that 10 y.o. Victim briefly mentioned in that newspaper article.
Fun fact, the director has also stated that while the little girl is taking the form of that victim it isn't actually that victim. It's Satan guiding Art.

Terrifier 2 was a fun theater experience opening night. "Hellraiser" dropped on Hulu the same night, T2 totally took the piss out of it. Lauren LaVera as Sienna is on my list of favorite final girls now. that Bedroom scene was gnarly, i lmao when Art came back in the room with bleach&salt. 🤘🤡🤘
Art The Clown is like a Rob Zombie/Lloyd Kaufmann version of a Scooby Doo villain to me haha

Considering Damien Leone did the writing, directing, and make up. That just boggles the mind. Looking forward to the ending of Art’s story.
I'm wondering if this new mystical aspect to the Terrifier universe
could have been someone's idea for a follow up to the movie Stitches.

This movie was so much freaking fun I hated the first one for not having a final girl and for feeling just like a demo reel of a killer this movie Fixes all the problems with the first one

there is a news article in this movie about arts firt victim who we know becomes the little pale girl and it says that she was part of a big circus family and some of her ancestors were popular clowns and mimes...so im pretty sure we actually can figure stuff out with what we got in this movie AND Damien Leone said that he explained some things that he shouldnt have explained in the audio commentary on the blu ray
He also said in an interview the pale girl is actually a demonic entity, possibly Satan who changes shape.

So I didn't know that this movie had a sequel until the other night I happened to jump on Discord and someone was streaming it. I was super stoked to see that there was a sequel and that it was new, I loved! I thought the gore was super amazing the character of Art is amazing, vast Improvement to the first movie, and after seeing the movie I immediately check to see if you guys had reviewed it, and you hadn't yet, but now you have! Very excited to see you talk about it

A common criticism levelled against most of the 'Nightmare on Elm street' sequels was that they made Freddy too much a comedic villain which sort of dulled his edge a little. The Terrifier films, in contrast, feel like an example of 'splatstick' done right, balancing humour with shocks the way rarely seen since certain films from the 80's like Evil Dead 1 and 2, and the superb 'Intruder'. Will be looking into these grim oddities ASAP.

I had the most surreal experience in the movie theater, I was on a date and when I walked in to the theater there was just two rows of children, I even walked out to double check that the movie screens didn't get switched around. And the manager was like nope those parents paid for the ticket. So I was in there waiting for that death counter and then by the second kill those rows got up and walked out. Also I was laughing and one lady was mad at me 😅 for giggling at the gorey bits that I found funny. #saltnslasha

well, I'll pass this. the reviews say that people vomit in cinemas, because the film is so gory. I guess the risk of being vomited on in theatre is an additional horror aspect...

Was waiting for y’all to talk about this one! Saw it when I heard it was only going to be in theaters for a couple days and it was so much fun. We did have a few walk outs, and there only seemed to be pockets of laughter but my roomie and I couldn’t stop cackling the whole time. There was a guy across the aisle from us who was laughing to, but kept giving us judgy looks when we laughed? Because we were grown ass women I guess? I dunno, but this movie was such a blast.
My wife and I saw this on one of our all too rare dates. We were the only ones in the theater on a Friday night! People don't know what they were missing!
Im actually surprised how much you guys mirrored my thoughts on the original. I’ve never held it in super high regards, but so many horror groups I’m part of sing the praises all the time, and I just thought it was mediocre with good gore. I guess I’ll have to check out T2 to see if I also find it much better.
I am going to watch the movie mainly for the clown but I also really like the main actress in this since I saw her in Iron Fist, that show sucked but she played a great henchwoman

I think, the first one was a victim of budget limitations. I believe it was around 27000. Not sure. The second was crowd funded and netted 250000. Damien has said that he had always in mind a trilogy. And now. He has the funds to finish that. Love the review.

I hadn't watched All Hallow's Eve or the short film. I went in blind and watched the first Terrifier movie. I enjoyed what I watched. Whenever Terrifier 2 comes out on free streaming service, I'll watch that. #saltnslasha

I choose to disregard the flaws of the 1st Terrifier film and strictly point out that there are many moments of horror brilliance (gun scene included) great review- had to cut u guys off at spoilers as i havent yet seen 2-🤘
I liked the movie but the runtime was a little too long for this sort of movie, for me. I’m still so glad I got to see a movie like this in a theater! #saltnslasha

Man, this movie was freakin awesome! This movie lived up to the expectations and it felt like a rite of passage/"I dare you to see this movie" and god it was just amazing!! This movie makes Italian exploitation films blush with everything in the movie
An old school 80's slasher/splatter movie that was funded by fans, made by a fan and released for fans!! And thanks to word of mouth, this movie is making bank and getting more theaters to have people check out and see if they can handle it!
Also, when you mentioned "Oscar worthy moments" fans are already saying that this movie deserves some Oscar nods especially with the practical/make-up effects and while even I think it probably won't (maybe make it to the short list) I think it would be awesome to see Art the Clown makes an appearance at the Oscars just for shits and giggles
