- Ok, you asked for it. A highly detailed "how-to" for a single cup/tumbler rotisserie turner from Featherbear Designs. Thank you all for your love and support and kind words. Good luck all!!!
OMGOODNESS THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. I have one like this but it kept lifting and I didn't know what to do with it lifting. Your a godsend. Your idea is AMAZING THANK YOU AGAIN!!
Thank you so much for your kind words!!
Just made mine! Thank you for the video! ☺️So easy to follow along! Life saver! 👏🏼🙌🏼Now on to making my first cup!! 😝
Thank you for this very detailed instructional video. I made my cup turner today. Now all I need is to go get the nerf balls and 2 size footballs.
I already have the 3/4 inch PVC pipe. 😎
Thank you so much, Dan! I'm pretty excited to have successfully built myself a single cup turner (the hubs helped with cutting my boards to the correct length and cutting the bar, but I did the rest with no injuries...woohoo). I can't wait to get my football arms and see how much having a proper turner helps in making my mugs. Thanks to you and to Heather for sharing so much with all of us!
I've watched a ton of videos on making a turner using a rotisserie and yours, by far, are the best! I also love the look - very minimalist but sleek and portable. I've watched some of your other videos and will be buying those tiny nerf balls to attach to the arm so I can use the PVC pipe I've already purchased. I just wish I had a drill press! I remember that tool from woodshop in junior high and it was my favorite tool! LOL
Thank you so much for sharing!
I just finished making my first Single-Cup Tumbler Rotisserie. Your step by step high detail tutorial made it possible! Thank you so much for your time and efforts!
Melissa Park great job!!
Thank you so much for breaking every detail down so that we can make these ourselves. This was great. Love your work!
This was so cool! I went to HD earlier, before I saw this video. I described what I wanted (which is what you demonstrated) and decided I had what I needed at home except for the wood. Thanks so much!
Pat Whitehead awesome!
This is really detailed in simple terms. Thank you so much. You and Heather make a great team!
Dan, your awesome, not bored!
Thank you...single Mom could never get this done even with your awesome detailed video no male influences and no tools. Thank you for sharing! I will definitely share! Love your channel your wife and yourself are so very kind! Wishing you much success!! Blessings! Christine
Thank you so much for making this easy to follow video! I so appreciate you taking the time to do this.
I just want to thank you and Heather so much. I bought a tumbler from Etsy and it broke yesterday. I have 8 orders to get out..... I watched this video and the football arm adapter video and made both in under two hours. I’m making another one now. I really appreciate your videos and Heather’s also. You guys are awesome!

Thank you!!! This was sooo helpful! And sure enough, I had paused the video to turn mine on and it wouldnt spin! Pressed play and figured out I did what you did.. I needed to actually put the rod in fully. 🤣🤣
Thank you! I have been waiting for this video. I don't have a lot of space in my craft room so I knew a single cup turner was the way for me. Seeing Heather's was my "ah ha" moment, knowing this is what I want. Now to go shopping!
Thanks for all the detail...especially the 2 holes you drillled with the screws and then the football attaching.
Susan Santangelo you are welcome!!
Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I am struggling with mine and haven’t set it up. I just stare at it. You made this pretty easy. Thanks again!!

I wanted to thank you so much for the video. You made my wife think, I have a hidden talent. 👍
Awesome tutorial! I think this one seems easier to assemble than the pvc pipe one. Going to Home Depot in the morning!

dasteffes you are so welcome!
I wish I could convince you to make one for me. I’m single handicapped lady and would like to do this but I haven’t anyone to help me make a Turner.....looks great!
Thank you!
Super easy, I can do that! Thanks. I just need the two pieces of wood. 🤓
Thanks Dan
Your welcome!!
Thank you for the video. What size drill bit did you use to Drill out the two holes on the motor
Thank you for this very detailed. Adding the screws to the motor is a great idea. What size and how deep are the holes you drilled for this part?
The holes aren't deep at all. I just go right through the metal and stop.
I got all my stuff. I'm the most nervous about cutting the metal rod down.
I really need one of these lol
So I had the idea to just use the rotisserie from lows and I was like I can’t be the only one lol thank gosh I’m not lol my question is how did you cut the bar ? I don’t want to mess up.
yes but how do you cut the rod and what do you cup it with?
How do you cut out the bigger hole for Heathers hand held pvc/football while she is using glitter with the cups?
Hello Dan, do you still make the single cup spinners?
Blessings, Pea
New to this and need a cuptisserie
For the 30 oz do you still just use the rod or have u found a way to attach pvc to it
JUST BOUGHT MY ROTISSERIE KIT AND MY BOARD TO MAKE MINE
Have you made a glitter hydro sports bottle? I know you use the football to hold tumblers, but I can’t figure out what to use when making a sports bottle.
Thank you soo much for making this !! I know I can get the lumbar yard to cut the wood for me. But what can used to cut the metal rod ? I don't have any tools so would have to find someone to cut it for me.
Nice thank you !!! didn't think it would be so cheap
What motor do you use?
what did you cut the metal bar with
How is the metal arm being cut?!?! I’m at that point and am stuck!
What rotisserie did you originally buy to do this?
My top block is two inches instead of three made a mistake when I asked for it. Is that going to be a problem?
Hi Dan! Question-I'm redoing my single turner to something like this. However, I only have one of the collar/slips...not sure where the other one went. Will this still work properly with just one? Or can you suggest where to buy another without having to buy the entire rotisserie? Thank you-these videos are SOOOO helpful!!!
Lacy Browning hmmmmm.....I haven't tried with only one. Could work. Try using just one closest and inside the motor. Then try using it outside on the arm instead. Let me know if it works and which is best
You can buy one on amazon.
Thank you so much for this detailed video! May I ask which rotisserie motor and arm was used?
The ones we got originally were from Walmart. Charlbroil
FeatherBear Designs ty!!!
FeatherBear Designs omg.... I got the one from Homedepot. And it came with like nothing
Help! I made my turner the exact same way and now it is starting to make a grinding sound
I SO appreciate this video. What/which glue do you use to attach the football to the rod?
Rhonda G it's in the video at about 24:07
FeatherBear Designs Thanks! I stopped a hair shy from that point. I was so excited when I learned how to keep my turner leveled that I didn’t finish the end of the video. Thanks again. Great tutorial.
Hey Dan, thanks, I do have a question, I am doing the long neck water tumblers, and I am having a time trying to figure how or what to use on the rotisserie rod to hold the bottles? Do you know of what or how? Thanks in advanced!!
Foam noodle floaters comes in small sizes try that
I’m having the same trouble. I can get the neck of the bottle taped tight to the pvc cap. I use a pvc cap with a hole drilled in it rather than the little nerf balls since I use the 1/2 inch pvc for bottles, then wrap some tape around the metal stick at the other end to make the stick sit nice and tight but the inside of the bottle is wider so it doesn’t turn level. Help!
Thanks you so much for this. Now to find the footballs, pool noodle not working too well for me. Happy Holidays
YES!!! Pool noodles do not work well!!
Ke'mi Unique I've seen these items at dollar tree!

You can cut it with a saw
is it possible to do the pvc pipe with the football on the single....so you can hold it to paint the epoxy on it and then hook to the turner without touching the cup like you do for the multi turner?
Donna Taldo I have the question!
There is now!!!! Announcing tomorrow
Is there an updated tutorial to show the pvc pipe with the football on the single? I would love to see how that is done so I can add that to the one that I will be making this weekend.

How do I order parts
Im sorry Donna I dont make the parts anymore. Been pretty consumed with our business at www.featherbeardesigns.com. Thank you and watch for more content coming from Heather as we revamp our CZcams Channel.
How can you do epoxy when there is no tumbler "turner?"
matttabi matttabi by hand ... pvc and a football you will need to make a stand though
K B12 so by hand youd just stick your hand inside?
No just like his set up at the 5:26 mark ... then stick the tumbler on the football and hold the rod/pvc but you will need to make a stand so you can manually turn it for hours lol unless you want to hold it and spin it ... I have a manual turner and it’s too much work lol
I bet a lot of people are going to have "ah-ha!" moments when it comes to how the collar is supposed to go into the motor after watching this.
ha ha ha!
nrdy grl yes!!!!!
