    Ryan! Thank you for making this video! I saw a post on facebook the other day of someone who made this but it had no instruction on how to do it so today I just thought "Hey, I'll check to see what Ryan had new on his channel." and BAM, I see this! It's seriously like you read my mind lol, especially with making the pvc pipes so you can remove them and fit different size cups I was telling my husband that's exactly what I needed because I recently ran into that problem.
    Ahh I'm just so excited! Thanks a million! You're awesome!

    I made my fiance one similar to the one you have here. What we are finding is that after she does a few cups the wood that I drilled in the middle to hold the rotisserie bar seems to get bigger and loosen up which in turn makes the cups sag down and the whole piece of wood will wiggle down the bar over time. Have you found this to be an issue or no a cure for this? Any help is appreciated

  • @thechargerlady
    @thechargerlady Před 7 lety

    Ok, I have a question and I am sure my thinking is wrong but I have to ask. It would seem that the cup isn't actually turning itself, so how is the epoxy being spun onto the cup. Wouldn't the cup be in the same position, yet moving in a circle pattern? I understand to not apply it while on this machine but what keeps the epoxy from just running to the bottom and staying?

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment  Před 7 lety

      Its just a larger diameter mount so the cup actually still makes a full rotation its just not as fast as a single cup since the single is a smaller diameter.

    To solve the board from wobbling loose on the shaft, I used a big flat washer, I then drilled the hole big enough to slide on the shaft and I also drilled 2 holes in the flat side of the washer, then i welded the washer to the shaft, slide the wood on the shaft, screw 2 screws through the holes, problem solved!!!

    I have a question about the 4 cup turner. On the piece of wood that holds the cups. I drilled the hole in the middle to your directions and had to hammer down the medal pole. After using it for several cups the middle hole is bigger and my board moves. Is there a way to fix this? I've tried to use wood glue and sort of fill in the hole but that didn't help. I love my turner but need to fix this board I've messed up cups because it will jump to the end. Thanks for your help.

    • @tamialex7579
      @tamialex7579 Před 6 lety

      The weight of all your cups has to be evenly distributed. Sometimes you may have to throw on some blank ones on the other 3 spots...it will not spin continuously and smoothly if you only have one cup on it. Even 2 put on opposite from each other will still cause issues for the motor...just make sure you have similar cups on all 4 to help even the wheel out.

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment  Před 7 lety +2

      I actually used it again this past weekend. I do not apply the epoxy to the cup while it is turning. I apply the epoxy with the finger method while holding it. Its very simple and does the trick. I've seen the other one you are talking about and its cool. This was you dont have to search for all the parts.

    • @mcro3of3
      @mcro3of3 Před 7 lety +2

      Agreed. Instead of threaded fittings, I just used a smooth end cap fitting and made the PVC pipe handle onger, so I can hold on to it while I epoxy and then slide it into the cap.
