Snook Inn in Marco Island, FL: Reopening Status of the Iconic Waterfront Restaurant

- The Snook Inn, the iconic waterfront restaurant on Marco Island, FL with over 30 years of history, has been closed since Hurricane Ian hit in September of last year. In this video, we get a bird's-eye view of the rebuilding progress made at the Snook Inn as of April of this year, and let you know when the owners plan on reopening.
The restaurant, which offers unique waterside dining and live music every night, was flooded with over 3 feet of water during the storm, causing significant damage. The Carvelli Group, which owns and manages the Snook Inn, received approvals for its plans to rebuild, and is making progress towards reopening later this summer.
One of the major features of the renovation is the 34-foot high "Chickee Hut Cathedral," which has raised concerns among some neighbors and residents. Despite this, the structure is set to remain, and locals are looking forward to returning to the Snook Inn to enjoy its tropical vibe, excellent food, and live entertainment.
