- The Iconic Snook Inn is open after a year of renovations and rebuilding. What a great event for Marco Island and everyone who loves here. For many, a visit to Marco Island is not complete without a visit or two to the Snook Inn. Thank you to the Carvelli Group for allowing me access to video their re-opening. They've put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into making the Snook Inn better than ever. Congratulations to them.

As if Marco needed another reason to visit there, spending a few hrs at the public beach and then ending the day with a great meal and a couple of drinks, paradise indeed. What a wonderful place to have a great time.

I would say it is considered to almost be a mandatory experience when coming to Marco. It has a lot of history and a huge following. Thanks for commenting, Ultan!

It's obvious they put a lot of thought into the flow during the reconstruction. It's the same footprint but it just seems so much larger because of the way they used the space this time. Kudos to the Carvelli group!
I remember visiting here from the Uk when we stayed in Marco about 12 years back it was brilliant a manatee popped its head up just off the dock and looked straight at me ! There were dolphins out in the estuary had a beer in my hand and a band was playing tequila sunrise It was like I’d landed in heaven …fab place looks proper posh now to if you’ve never been then go 👍
And they are busy from opening to closing since they reopened. What is nice is that you have things to do while waiting for a table. My favorite thing is to get a drink and go to the upper deck and watch the boats, dolphins, etc.

I noticed that it is possible to bike from the public beach to the Snook Inn according to Google it's only 20 mins away.
Probably so, Pedro. But that would be from a beach entrance, through part of the town, and into the Snook's parking lot. There is no way to get there "on the beach" and bikes on the beach are not allowed. Bring your bike!
@@evolutionaryTom Yes, I refer to the public beach at the south end of the island, where I have gone. Only thing you get there early or parking spaces are gone.
