The term "rib" is translated from the Hebrew word "tsela" which more accurately translates as "bone" or possibily "pelvic bone" (which interesting is common among many mammals but is missing from humans). It is not known for 100% which bone this is - thus it usually being translated as rib.
There is NO legitimate argument that God took the entire side of Adam and split him in half, this modern-day made-up conspiratorial nonsense and does not appear in ANY ancient text.

@@mrsamaritan6881 tsela means, to curve, half and also rib or pelvis and many other things...because the Hebraic language is very primitive and has a small vocabulary. in the entire Bible tsela is always used to mean half or curve and only once to refer to bones. clearly they meant half not rib...
@@Ceisri ancient Hewbrew had a rich vocabulary, moreso then even modern English. In English for example we say "love" went talking about a lover, our children/parents, or our favorite food. In ancient Hedrew they had different words for all of these concepts. So not very primative at all.
Not only is tzela "rib" in post-biblical Hebrew, it has cognates meaning rib in practically every Semitic language we know. In geometry it CAN mean side but it's clearly not use that way in Genesis. Context is important.
rise is such a fun game, but it is sad that some people won't play it because they think a game is only valued by it's graphics.

It wasn't the graphics that turned me down but more the lack of immersion.
On the top of my head, we had to collect stupid birds following a stupid route, most of the combat happen on flat arenas with almost no decor which made everything stale very quickly. Gameplay was just same counter based stuff. Every fight felt the same, they were quicker so good for those who like a faster paced game. But you really can't say people turned Rise down for graphics only.
I liked the game but I got bored after 70h or so

Yeah but spawn 100 physics objects on-screen in any Unreal 4/5 game and see what happens. Every game that uses Unreal is almost completely static. The only reason it's popular is because it's easy for developers to use and produces pretty screen shots and "in-engine" gameplay footage. The vast majority of the games using it run like shit, and that has been true ever since Unreal 3.

@@yewtewbstew547i’m a massive supporter of studios using in house engines but let’s be real about bethesdas. they aren’t properly prioritizing their engine upgrades. creation is still very much gamebryo. more so than its contemporaries and those old limitations especially data storage is still a major issue with creation 2. new lighting but the optimization and AI are definitely not where they should be after all these years. they still have “cells” so we’ll be dealing with hard load screens in 2027 for ES6. Unreal and Unity both run better than bethesda games. especially with an experienced and talented team working with the engine. bethesda has had a core team for very very long and they still don’t understand project management and prioritization.

@@yewtewbstew547 Tekken 8, The Finals, Palworld, Remnant 2 & Fortnite, all are Unreal Engine 5 games, and all seem to run fine on my PC.

Amatsu in Rise was what I wished Alatreon was in Iceborne. Loved how he handled.

weird the dragons eye in the opening looked like Unreal 5 quality then transitioned into a PS4/5 game.
if you use the same assets that are in the existing game, at the end of the day it's the same game but with different lighting and maybe different physics but you can't really see the latter on this one
its because Rise is a switch game, a lot of the models look arcadey compared to World counterparts, that's why the Unreal 5 version just looks like Palworld. Unreal 5 environment and Switch looking monsters.
Unreal 5 quality is only in the bloated textures/lighting engine.
Yeah the dragon looked awesome, you can see the details down to insane animation of the folds of the wings and its just let down because the terrain looks like garbage LOL

I'm a bit sad that a lot of people shits on Rise too much. It might not be as immersive or graphically impressive as world but the combat in that game is so fun specially in Sunbreak with the introduction of switch skills, I remember how fun it was fighting Primordial Malzeno using lance easily one of my top 5 hunts.
No kidding, gunlance in rise is so much more fun too.

Lance is weird. You either know every monster attack and insta-block everything like a Sekiro veteran and it's the most rewarding weapon or you guard all the time and it's too safe and boring.
its even sadder that Rise is actually canon coming after XX. world was like a spin off reboot.
The gameplay in rise/sunbreak is some of the best in the industry. Yeah the world isn't as immersive as world but even now if I feel like playing monster hunter I always gravitate towards rise.

That muscle, skin and fat layer breakdown is not something that is typically supported in games, that's more of a vfx type of tech, so that's a little weird to see, but it's overall really impressive work. If that's something that's actually being used in the engine at runtime, I'd be really curious to see how that worked.
The only thing I can picture is using that for the initial sculpt and baking of animations, then only keeping the outside/visible layer in-game.
Or else it's just showing off because why not at this point? If they're gonna sell some dream, may as well go all the way. xD

Once you start MH, there is no going back. Even if they ended up not liking the current game, they'll still go back to MH again someday in the future. It's just a matter of time.

Rise (and especially its expansion sunbreak) are way more fast-paced than world due to the gimmick of the game with wirebugs which let you travel way faster than normal, among other things
It will be a sad day when monster hunter wilds releases if its not as good as the fan made stuff.

I am a bit concerned after DD2 and the localization westernization stuff from Capcom SanFrancisco, but I am still extremely excited for Wilds. It’s going to the first MH game after their greatest success with MH, so I expect they’ll put everything they can into it to be the best iteration possible
@@iamcll seeing the track record of the RE engine compared to how Bethesda is with theirs, EA with Frostbite, and Ubisoft with snowdrop, I think it’ll be just fine. Capcom atleast shows they are willing to listen to feedback and adjust.

People really sh!ts on Rise/Sunbreak for no (real) reasons.

Lot of MH Veterans were sh!tting on World back in 2018, because it was too easy, too casual, had a lack of content (before Updates and Iceborne) and was too different from 4U, Gen.
I wish World had some Rise features, like i wish Rise had some World features.

Seeing all those people shitting on Rise reminds me that the majority of those people have probably only played World. Veterans who played from MH to now (like myself) find Rise's combat to be better than World's in most cases, especially with things from Sunbreak such as switch skills and the general pace of combat just being more punchy, snappy, and quick.
From my own experiance it really are mostly people who only played World who sh*t on Rise.
Well Dragons Dogma 2 looked great and thats the engine what was used for Rise - Rise assets were just targeted for handheld hardware hence why it looks dated at high resolutions. I doubt they will touch unreal 5, no need.
Honesty if MH games looked like it did in World from here on out I wouldn’t be upset.

Some random guy? This level of creature moddeling is something you can do after years of practice. And a priject like this takes forever.
Also this is not something that ends up in a game. As you can see he fully created bones and muscle for the Amatsu. This is more of an Simulation or an Artwork than a functioning model that you could actually run in a near future Monster Hunter game.
Still very impressiv but i think people get some wrong ideas abaut 3D Modelling.
Dawg it’s unreal engine, and the maker was prob a senior 3d artist. Something like this can be done by a solo dev. It’s just one fight.

i take rise's graphics and style over this any day of the week and im not even that big of a fan of that game. no hate to the guy who made this but these "game company, hire this man" unreal engine demos have stopped impressing me for a long time now.
