Your videos completely changed the trip (for the better!!) my husband and I took a few years ago and we couldn't be more grateful to you and Honza. I'll save everyone time: 0:38, old employer said "take down videos since you no longer work here", HG said "ok, we don't have the time or money to fight it".
What does it mean? Is there some odd copyright from a previous employer that dont like these guides?

The company got corrupted, at first smaller creators started leaving. Then biggest names..

What I see as a biggest pity that videos from other Czech cities are gone. They were very nice and those cities actually need promotion unlike Prague.

True , there are so many more gems then Prague in Czech Republic , it makes me sad that almost no tourists know about Morava region for instance , which has very very broad culture
i see some threatening to unsubscribe if videos get deleted.... well they probably didnt get the story straight, it's not their fault, it's a legal problem. They are very upset with it themselves already, so let's show support the right way guys. The videos will have more updated tips anyway! :)

Yes. I personally would appreciate a merch store with functional items. I am in no position to help them[finacially] myself, but things like pants, tank top, hoodies, socks, cloth masks, gloves, microwave-safe bowls, water bottles, prepackaged Prague foods, etc. would be practical enough to spend a better amount of money, or even just help spending any money to support the channel.
Heck oversized tees with pajama like material would be very nice and practical.
They could even put their logo on stationary and "school/office supplies."

They did not delete it, they private it, if you go to the community and see their posts, the videos are privated
I'm so sad about your videos. I watched so many before we visited Prague in 2019. They were a huge help. We hope to come there again in 2022. It was such a great trip and our last obe before COVID. Take care guys!!!

BTW it seems to me that they're not deleting videos but making them private. They may be unearthed in the future. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to the new content.

Just an idea, u can legaly react to old videos the ones u are deleting before they get deleted , and have a small screen at the bottom with the videos and just like give ur take on it or opinion. That way people can still see ur vids and you won't be legally breaching an agreement đ
Janek & Honza, I canât thank you guys enough for your wonderful introduction to Prague, it made my visit to your wonderful city in 2019 so much better, interesting and enjoyable. Can't you save them privately ? After some time ownership expires. You must have some lawyers among your fans that could argue for you. Don't give up !!!!!
You can do that yourself too. They take up about 37 GB. You can use youtube-dl for it.
But copyright expired many decades after the owner dies, it's even worse with companies. There's no use waiting for that.
I really loved your old videos about other towns of Czech Republic. Thanks to you i went also to Karlovy Vary, Kutna Hora and Brno, so i am a bit sad to hear they will be deleted.

They parted company with their previous employers & couldn't reach an agreement on the old videos , so rather than go through a protracted & potential bitter process they took the decision to just delete them ...

Dear Honest Guide, I am thrilled to watch your video so far and excited to plan to Prague someday. Unfortunately due to the pandemic situation had delay the schedule eventually. And we are sad on the removal on those invaluable content with full of tips and trips. I just found out about this. So sad. I watched so many videos from 2018 to 2019 before our trip in July 2019. These videos were incredibly informative and useful.
It's a shame you had to delete the videos they helped my family very much on our visit to Prague a year back. Especially with Euronet and also the taxi drivers. 1 of them tried to tell me that it cost 70 euros to go from the train station to the airport and when I told him that he is mad and started to walk away he yelled after us that he will do it for 50. We took the bus instead much cheaper.
We also found some really nice cafes to eat at 1 was actually hidden in the basement of a building and the food was second to none and the beer was cheap.
Keep doing the honest guide don't give up. I hope to one day return for a second visit as I loved the czech republic.

Sorry to see the old videos go guys but the end is really the beginning. I saw them all from almost the start, planned my first trip to Prague in 2016 by them and got to Kutna Hora with ease because of thr. Now I live here, well in Pisek with my Czech girlfriend and we had just started going to the cafés and restaurants you mentioned. We are looking forward to the new stuff. Oh and we're trying to get your book. Shops seem to be sold out though.

I haven't looked through all the comments, but there are 500 litres of beer in a tank. :) A car with a tank transports it from the brewery and overdraws it into the tank inside of the pub via a hose. The bartender has to check a seal on the car to make sure the beer is fresh and no one tampered with it during the ride. It is overdrawn into a clean plastic bag inside the tank and then the tank is filled with compressed air which then pushes down on the bag and the bartender can pour the beers from the tap. I hope it makes sense. I have worked as a server and bartender in a licensed Pilsner pub for four years, so if you have any questions about it, feel free to ask. :) Btw I will miss all the videos, Janek and HonzĂk. They made me happy in not so happy times, but of course I look forward to the new ones. :) Keep up the good work!!!

I spent one year in Prague (unfortunately only one year) and I fell in love with the city. I have a question about the beer container. Do you have to bring your own "tank" to have it filled up? Or do you buy the tank from the pub? Are they reusable? Glass? We have growlers in the US which is 1/2 gallon so that is why I'm asking.
The tank doesn't refer to the bottle. The tank is a large, several-hundred gallon tank that's in the pub. The bottle seems like it comes from the pub.

You should do this kind of important video at home, like a previous one. Maybe in that case you would not have so much technical difficulties.
I was searching for a video where they travelled to a city in czezia by train and that video is also gone man sadly
It's good that you guys will be shooting new videos updating many(?) of the old about-to-be deleted ones.
Post-Covid, probably half the old restaurant videos are no longer relevant (due to permanent closures).
This is heartbreaking. Your videos were an essential guide for tourist like me and were of the great value for the promotion of your country. I knew all the essentials before even landing in Czech Republic for the first time and I would have been a lot more lost if it weren't for you. Furthermore, you did so much good with exposing corruption and criminal activities and all of that is now almost wiped out. Unfortunately, even if you reshoot some of your old videos, that won't be it, something of great value was lost from the public forever and only exist as some sort of downloadable backup. Most people won't know about those videos and they included so much greatness caught on camera that cannot be just reshooted. I cannot imagine how hard it was for you.
P.S. Czech government itself should at least speak out about this and help you out if possible because what you guys did was of great cultural and promotional value for your entire country.
