Sure is allot easier to remove and install than all the third party stripping kits. When the mower is in vertical storage position, can the stripping kit be honking in the opposite direction for storage purposes?
I haven’t tried to do so myself, since it’s so easy to just take it off and put back on. I believe you can, but would imagine it would make laying the mower flat on the ground when ready to use could result to be a bit difficult.
I am so confused with this striper. I followed instructions, everything is correct but my roller fell off only 3 rows in. They should of made it so it locks around the pivot rod.
I have had issues backing up with this units as it’s not bolted down in any way. There will be movement of the unit as you attempt to back up & I’ve found it best to avoid doing so while in use.

Can you please let me know how far apart both the hooks are from each other? Looking to use this with a Craftsman 21 inch gas push mower. Thanks

Do we have to install the new flap to make it work? Don't feel like removing the stock flap on the non-SP version.
If you have the LM2100 you do have to install the included flap, as the locking screws on the original shield interfere with the kits hooks.
