- Just got my Ego striping kit in & wanted to give you guys a sneak peek at the contents and initial installation.

Thank you for the unboxing video of this striping kit. I think if I am to get it I would add a few strips of gaffer taps to the roller to keep it quiet on hard surfaces and to protect the metal at the same time. I checked my Peak Power LM2142SP and think that I maybe able just trim 3/8" off each side of current trailing shield for it to drop right between the striping kit's hooking arms or leave the current one to seat on the frame of the striping kit and install the included trailing shield (double shield!! LOL) without the work of taking both wheels off to remove the original trailing shield even though it would not hurt to do some cleaning, inspection and reapply some lithium grease to the driving gears to get smoother drive.... we will see...

@@blinkishmixpix After a few times striping the stripes become a bit more defined. It took me a while to figure out what the community meant when they said "burn the stripes in." LOL
@@GirLzLawn I would have absolutely taken that a little too literally as well! Lol. good to know, though. The second go around this AM did offer better results, I’ll keep at it!
I have been using this AR2100 striper on my LM2167SP for 2 weeks now. The bad part is that it has already stopped rolling because it got the smallest bit of grass and or dirt at the ends of the roller where it bolts to the roller frame. It is going back to Lowes and I'm reinstalling my Big League roller that has worked perfectly for 2 years
Damn, haven’t had those issues but I MUCH prefer Big League’s. I agree with that 100%.

Dragging that extra weight around, wonder how that affects run time with battery?
It certainly impacts the battery life but not by too much I’d say. I’ll be making a comparison video between Ego’s striping kit and the Big League kit I just picked up. Stay tuned!

My first thought was this is probably worth 15 dollars but then I remembered our insane economy, so a retail value of about $39.95 seems appropriate.

Well the toro lawn striper came out years ago and was $100+. I believe $130. Lawn companies (especially name brand) have always been price gouging their products, it’s not really an economy thing.
Will it fit other mowers beside an Ego ?
This is exclusively for Ego mowers. Check out Big League Lawn’s kits, they’re phenomenal and available for a wide variety of mowers.

I purchased it through Power Plus Parts, which is ran by Cutler’s out of UT. They’re an authorized Ego retailer, as well. I paid around $100 with shipping.
I believe Acme Tools also carried it, though I don’t know if they’re still in stock at the moment of this post.
