- Chrome has been one of the most popular films over the past few years as it has that special wow factor that resonates with customers worldwide. As popular as chrome is it can be equally difficult to install since it has different properties than standard wrap film and the price point can result in costly mistakes that hurt the bottom line.
In this film from FESPA Digital 2016, the demo duo of World Wrap Masters head judge Ole Solskin and judge Justin Pate of TheWrapInstitute show a variety of ways to apply chrome film that will help make the process much easier and, in return, profits much higher.

Because he only put a tiny bit of soap in there. You could hear the squeegee squeak which means its marring the chrome wrap.

What is the product do you prefer to wrap with?
I have a mr2 gti t bar from 91 that could really benefit from a wrap job even tho it's got a good ish paintwork for its year... Of course it's not perfect and that's what I would love... What these guys don't tell u tho is what and how to do over rusty bits or non 100% metal.. And metal that may have small imperfections on as life has muck n dust.. Even when I've t.cut perfect there is still fly poop like dots of grime that just won't come out no matter what.. No one wraps a brand new car.. These are all perfect bodywork, Inside... Most of us don't have a huge workshop to play in. So outdoor application in summer when body make be different temp to normal sitting operation. All these things not mentioned.
What type of sticker material is used?

If you have to even ask that, have a professional do it for you. Period. Do not wrap it yourself if it's your first time.

@@brandonthompson7075 no he says on here 6-10 grand for application.. Who the hell can afford to pay that for something gonna look shit in 3 yrs.. Do it urself. Just watch loads of videos first and find the awkwardest shape bit of sculpture in house and have a few goes til u get it perfect before going to work outside on the car.. Once u got the hang of a odd shaped small thing the car should seem a breeze.. The cutting is gonna be the hardest part. Not scratching metal underneath and not getting those fingers he shows..

No matter how well it's installed, chrome looks like a wrap. It magnifies any orange peel and other imperfections in the paint below it. It looks cheap. $6k - $10k to make your car look ridiculous.
I'd rather have chrome with orange peel than a regular paint job. Sure car painters won't like it but 99% of everyone will love it.

6-$10Gs for chrome wrap and these best of the best wrapped a car with 3 guys in 4hrs? Jesus. Ppl are out their minds. It's cool when you have so much money you don't know what to do with it. Still not seeing how I'm not picking high-end paint job for cheaper, or even if same price over this glorified saran wrap, that might last few yrs with no long-term warranties. Amazing skill though, but profit margin seems high, but FUCK it, if ppl willing to pay.. take their money. Fuck em.
