- Cutting is in many ways the most critical part of the car wrapping process as it significantly determines the overall quality of the end result. Cutting can also lead to overwrapping which can needlessly slow down the process. In this lunchtime demo at FESPA Digital 2016 the duo of Justin Pate of TWI and World Wrap Masters Head Judge Ole Solskin Ravn show a variety of different cutting techniques that result in high quality while lowering install times. Special guest: Phil Aquin, lead instructor of knifeless tech systems.

Good work guys. I learned a lot
Awesome videos and training.
Haha saw that guy (with the microphone) on Sign and Print in Kistad Stockholm last week! Just like Bruce Buffer haha. Awesome show btw :)
Thanks, this was interesting - super-interesting. I'm really excited about wrapping now.
instablaster...
Q
This stuff is awesome!
Sometimes you void the warranty of the car if you remove the headlight.....not in the USA and I doubt that's the case anywhere on earth.
I can say confidently if you want anyone to wrap your car, it would Phil because no one on this planet will wrap it like him. He doesn't cut any corners. I don't think there is anything anyone can teach him. he knows every fkn secret there is. He should have his own Utube channel.
Vladimir Putin walks in back center @ 1:29. Awesome tips, great videos.
👍😂Ever so slowly too. 😂
I thought I was the only person that saw that 🤣
Man I love it
what a positive guy
nice tool' knife less tape' not just a special tool but serve as a technique
When the host grabbed Phil's hand, I honestly thought Phil was about to slap the shit out of the host. The look on Phil's face was hilarious. He was so annoyed. LMAO
Dude is a beast.

Mmm Kay thanks! 🙏
what is the special tool to tuck the material under w/out lifting the hood?
fun!
I’m from Fontana can you recommend any areas that’ll teach me wrapping
Anyone know where to get this wrapping material they use?
Where can you get the wrap?
Cool. Great video, great tips. Where to buy the cutting tape?
I just bought some on EBAY, Works GREAT and should have been out years ago. I have only used the single string on a Corvette Carbon Fiber job and it Really works GREAT. I want to try the 3 string.
Used it to do stripes on a speed boat, worked perfectly, i would had a hard time figuring out the curve of the stripe (had to fit some body lines) on the haul because of the curved shape of it. It even allowed me to put primer on the area before i put the vinyl on. I would recommend that tape to anyone, works perfectly. :)
5,000 subscriber 👍🇬🇧👍
lol 6:55 he steals your "special tool"
lol, good eye.
Can you do training here in the Philippines?
👍⭐️😍I’m probably never gonna wrap a car (or anything else) in my life but I watched this whole entire video. ☝️🤔But with this 2020 pandemic...who knows maybe I’ll start wrapping cars. 🤨 Girls can probably do it better any way. 😂🤗💞🤗
Every time he says mmmkkkay take a shoot lol good luck
Justin s the best.
Tui muốn biết những dụng cụ này mua ở đâu...
Didn't know Dynamo is teaching car wrapping now.
What's 6 inches in centimeters?
It's about half centimeter!
Justin sometimes you need to be quite lol
What’s the glove they was using?
Brother, how can I get the rolls and how much are they?
Where can I buy the knifeless tape for ppf????
@4:45 🤣🤣🤣 6 inches to cm? 1cm no about half cm. LMAO.... (1inch =about 2.5 cm) love All your videos 👍
Can someone tell me what the knife is called and what brand?
Why did they overlap the chrome and just do a standard buttjoint with the standard vinyl?
Because the chrome they were using wasnt the same length as the standard vinyl 19:08
?
Can somebody please name the tool for the edge?
Does the vinyl remove easily if you mess up?
Shane Wray yes
Where can i get this knife?
Sorry all, but can anyone explain me what is the purpose of this knowledge? Where in life they can use this skills? Thanks.
SO to use the knifeless tape on the headlight you just need a knife. lol
But all of this is really amazing and these guys are amazing at what they do. Not easy to do this stuff live, either!
Can this be used on PPF?
Yes - PPF Line
What is surface energy?
is the adhesiveness of the vinyl. The tape has less adhesive on int the vinyl so it will not stick as strong to the product compared to the vinyl that is designed to last for years.
What product are they working with?
The vinyl was from Avery Dennison, the tape is knifeless tape
bad ass . guy
where do you find a plastic knife?
At any hardware store (Lowes, Home Depot).
Chicken Dorito go buy food theu give you free knives
The blade itself is metal but everything around the metal blade is plastic
why you need an overlap with chrome?
IKR! I don’t understand the butt/buck joint as well, do you?
where abouts can you get this done in calgary alberta question to Phil?? and can you wrap over older paint ??
I did some training with these guys and they were doing it there. www.shadowshield.ca/
when you sharpen a knife aren't you suppose to do it away from your body and not towards?
I always go towards my body, I have better control.
"Nice Kean Klut!"👍. This would've been more impressive on a WHITE car.
Mkay ? Ok ?
Where can I buy this tool??? 6:43
1 month and still no respond.. i want it too were can i can get it ?
What tool you guys looking for ? knifeless tape ?

I think you can get from a graphic shop that do signage or window tint
im working in the buisness and i can't find it, online or in store anywere, but thx for the help
"nKay?"
you cant cut the glass with a knife like that or even scratch it
Auf deutsch wäre auch nicht schlecht
Bahama butchers are some of the most unsafe people I know! Half of them are missing fingers lol!!
3 stooges. Fast talking just like the guys @ your local junk yard!
Its really .........
But i'm not a rapper
This is pointless you can do all this with a knife. Ok on a high end car maybe
Very useful on boats since you can put primer under your vinyl without creating a mess. Just put the primer all the way to the wire and you got 100% coverage under your vinyl without creating a sticky mess all around your stripe that you will have to clean up afterwards(Also cleaning the edge of the stripe can make your edge weaker since the glue remover attacks the glue under your edge.
'Next in the training workshop is how to professionally install a $2 bumper sticker'. I wouldn't even waste my time kicking a wrapped car. my shoe has higher standards.
''sharpening knife'' that is not sharpening that is honing the edge.... i dont belive hes butcher if he doesnt know the difference
Too commercial and fast talking salesman makes this video absolute garbage. The whole spiel from this guy is so rehearsed and parrot fashion makes it totally unprofessional; It is so obvious this guy has spent hours learning his sales pitch and is not really interested in his product and recites his pitch just like a piece of poetry he has learnt by heart similar to a 6 year old who has learnt his favourite nursery rhyme at school.
You can't sharpen a knife with a steel!!!!
