Delhi Air Pollution is SERIOUS!

  • I walk deeper into the Delhi suburb of Paharnganj and talk with locals about Delhi's ongoing air pollution problem and ask how their lives are affected and what measures if any are being taken to address the issue.
I also discover a small temple tucked away in the back lanes with a kind worshiper explaining to me the various names of Indian Gods and scriptures while also watching people pray.
A street character abruptly stops me and demands I write something for him on a piece of paper with him also asking me for a cigarette even though he doesn't smoke.
There's a man pushing his broken down rickshaw who I give assistance to and a general walk around Paharnganj watching life.

No there are not 300 million Indian Gods, scriptures say there are 33 koti Gods which means 33 types of Gods in Hinduism (U can look it up on internet) people misunderstand koti as million as the word has two meanings in Hindi one for million and other for character.

Let me give you a clear understanding on Air Pollution Politics in Delhi (not all over India) :
The pollution mostly comes from Stubble burning in farms of nearby Punjab state (as per the study conducted by Indian Institute of Technology), both Delhi and Punjab are ruled by one political party called AAP, Punjab is mostly minority sikh state of Sikh Farmers so in order to bring laws the rulling AAP government needs to curb stubble burning but they don't do it due to Votebank politics,
Now, if the Indian Modi government of BJP takes any step to control pollution and pass any law in parliament these state parties will have hue & cry and accuse Indian government of encroaching on State powers of making laws, death of democracy in India, protest will happen funded by America with people like Greta Thunberg & Rihanna paid tweeting (as they have done in the past) , so everyone suffers in the name of MINORITY and India's name is ruined globally due to petty politics of Anti India thug parties.

I had the same question about 300milion gods & goddesses and the closest I came to an answer is that sage kakbhushundi resides outside of time, so he could see Mahabharat & Ramayana play out multiple times with all the key individuals changing every time. We however pray to the deities of the current manvantara.

sorry to correct but west has ideaology or misinterpreted by western historians and media we hindus dont have 33 million gods we have 33 koti devi devta 'koti" which is sankrit word which got mistranslated by so called historian and media, koti means types so we have 33 types of devi devta they are 8 vasus (material representation) ,12 adityas ( personification) 11 rudras ( function / abstractions ) and 2 Ashwani kumaras (the points of intersection of the ecliptic with the celestial equator). For more information follow shrimad bhagvadgita .
so 33 koti means 33 supreme divinities.
