Something I haven't seen others commenting on yet is just how tightly written/composed this song is, for being nearly 11 minutes long. Prog is often (fairly) criticized for being full of "musical masturbation": loads of indulgent solos that are there just to show off the instrumentalists' technical chops. But this song, despite being technically challenging and complex, isn't like that at all--everything is in service of the emotional story being told. There *is* a guitar solo, but it's short, tasteful, and comes at just the right moment for a climactic emotional release.
This isn't just any old "prog"--this is music that does justice to the concept of being truly "progressive." Bravo, guys.

I honestly think you're the definitive gateway band for non-prog heads. Hell I can even imagine non-metalheads going to your concert and genuinely enjoying themselves. The music is intense sure but it's also happy and theatrical. Like it's part of a musical that doesn't exist yet lol. Going to see you live at the next available opportunity.

what these crazy guys do is supernatural, very few modern bands take so many risks to make masterpieces.
Long songs, complex compositions, melodic changes and not to mention the members that each one is more virtuous than the other.
I would love them to come to Argentina, but I know that this kind of bands don't have as much merit and recognition as they should.

Really liked this... Like a lot! I love how they use actual piano as it's more often a synth in progressive stuff. And it's incorporated so well. The proper breakdown with some distorted vocals was great. 5/5 will be listening many times to try and follow each instrument to comprehend the complexity.
Found this album on Spotify by accident. Was listening to it while putting the laundry away and I have to say, it made me weirdly emotional. It's been a weird year though.. Always great to find another great new band to have on repeat.

It's so good to hear outright extreme metal elements being incorporated. The brief section of screamed vocals elevated the music more than any cleans w/ a bit of vocal fry/distortion on them could - especially given the contextual heaviness of the breakdown going on. And the passages where the blastbeats kick in were just transcendent.
Also loved the hints to modern thrash in some of the riffs.

This song holds a special place in my heart. When i was listening to this i was having hardship and heartache and this song was what kept together what little positivity i had left.
