For me it’s often a constant complex noise in my head about how I’m not good enough at what I do or for anyone. Even through all the therapy and mediation I've been through, I've struggled to explain my depression because it's never sadness, it's just not feeling anything at all. You so eloquently put it into words what I've been feeling for a long time now and I thank you for this.

It's like Arch Echo, The Contortionist, and Protest The Hero had a baby. This is utterly unreal.
I don't really see the "Protest the Hero" in here, particularly, once that PTH aims towards punk and metalcore with really high tempo upbeat skanks and power metal-ish over the top leads. You don't really see that stuff happening with Aviations like, at all.
I hate to say these kind of things, but its just facts: this is criminally underrated

chills down my spine & tears in my eyes . the emotions this brought up . all those years ago i listened to this song in high school after a long night of making music with my best friend that got me into progressive metal . headphones in & in the dark i listened & was submerged in a whole different world, just out of the blue, like a spiritual experience . afterwards for the first time, i was able to think of musical ideas with all the different instruments playing at once . i started tearing up . emotional, i went back into my homies room to see if he was still awake . he was & we ended up having a super deep conversation & that was the start of when we really became close . my friend passed away a few years ago & i know how much he would've loved to hear this . this song always carried extra value for me , but the impact this video just had on me is beyond words . from the bottom of my heart, thank you .
Music often transcends what words can even begin to describe. Thank you so much for sharing your story, while I can only imagine what it feels like to lose someone that close, but it means so much to us that our music found a place in your life in that way and we're glad you're still here to share this new version with us. I'm really late to the Outliers party--and Aviations, too, really. This is so, so...words fail. Love it. Any Dear Hunter fans here? Anyone else notice the Act IV vinyl cover right around 0:57 in? I thought I heard Casey Crescenzo vibes on Legend, and am convinced now. What a wonderful nod. I love finding new music to devote some real listening time to!

Ok so I completely missed this song, and the reacts from the channels I follow but I heard it on Spotify's Progressive Metal playlist today at work and I couldn't help but just stand in awe and just flow to the music. I think if I wasn't at work, and was in a slightly different mindset I would've absolutely cried listening to this. It sounds sooo much like Time, The Valuator which is what caught my attention bc I love that band. Straight up, this song overtook Reptile by Periphery as my favourite song ever, and I just came here to show my appreciation for this song/video. Fucking, incredible.

The way they use dissonance to help portray fear and anxiety particularly at about 6:05 is a masterclass, that moment makes the resolution feel so surreal.

I heard the intro to this song 2 1/2 years ago and added it to my Spotify with the intention of giving the full song a listen when I had a bit more time, then forgot about it. I finally rediscovered it tonight, and wow....I'm torn between knowing that if _anything_ was worth waiting for it was "Outliers", and intense self-hatred for denying myself this song for so long.

This is one of the best songs I have ever heard, pure fucking magic.
Bare with me here. I’m almost 30 years old. Music has always been the most important thing in my life. Especially for my mental state of mind (probably not healthy but it’s true) my favorite bands are Tool/Slipknot/LP/Deftones (saying this just for perspective) and I just need you to know this is the greatest song I’ve ever heard. An absolute masterpiece. I’ve listened to it for a little over a year, and no song has grown on me the way this one has. You guys are pure gold, and I really hope you get the recognition you deserve. Words can’t even describe how much this song does for me. A beautiful journey I will listen to forever. Keep going.
Some of us are almost 30 as well, even weirder to think we filmed this 2.5 yrs ago already geeze, but time is strange as you get older. Feels like i know it’s worth more but still manage to spend it less wisely, but when you find an awesome piece of music it makes you slow down and enjoy it so I get where you’re coming from.
