"Outliers" was actually written and originally recorded a decade ago, and we found it necessary to recreate it with our new lineup in 2020. So, having heard and played this 1000s of times over the years… being able to watch people react to it gives it new life. The "chills" you get when listening to music is your vibration being raised. I just found these guys an hour ago and the chills were constant. It thrills me to see they are fans of The Dear Hunter also. Even after an hour my connection grows with these gentlemen. Its great and I look forward to listening to their back catalogue.

In a completely different direction (but something that also makes me cry), I’d love to see a blind reaction to Rainmaker by Hailaker. There’s not a single reaction to it on the whole of CZcams, but it’s such a delicate, beautiful song and I’d love to see someone experience it for the first time!

This is why I love music. Another song by a band that's really not well known that gives me a very similar vibe is Antonamasia - Kinesis. Absolutely epic.
I'm on the older side of 50. I *love* music, especially innovative music. For decades now, basically since I grew to adulthood, my favorite song has been Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", no contest. Dozens of other songs competing for second-favorite, but that one stood alone.
"Outliers" is the only song to come along in at least the last 20 years that's made me reconsider that stance. It is indeed a journey, and yes: I feel the same enveloping and "traveling" sensations you're trying to describe on every listen.
you described perfectly what this song did to me when I first heard it 2 years ago....to this day - and I have been involved with music as a professional for 30 years - nothing has moved me as much as this song in combination with the video...Immaculate is perfect!!!

If I can try and add words to how you felt, this song goes beyond simply a cool tune. It transcends into something magical, it hits the at frequency of the human experience that we all crave; a glimpse into eternity.
This is what music is supposed to be like. It’s supposed to inspire, to make you feel something beyond yourself and the world.

As a huge Plini fan, it's only fair to say that this song predates even Plini's first EP. They've just recreated it with their current lineup. Aviations is OG and "Declaration of Sound" the album from which this song originally came, is a masterpiece.
