- From the start at the incline all the way to Pikes Peak. Can it be done? Yes! By you? Probably Not! After my casual 38 minutes up the incline, I trailrun to Barr Camp and then work my way up to the summit of Pikes Peak on a fantastic Colorado summer day on America's Mountain.
Love it! Thank you!
Wow. The incline is enough to send me home humbled for the day. I don't know if people can comprehend throwing Pikes along with that. Awesome. Glad to see you out on the trails!
All apart of training for sea to summit!
One of the most amazing places in the world
Great video, I am going to take the same route in 2024 some time around June. I just did Rim-to-Rim at the Grand Canyon. Is the trail clear and should I worry about bears? Congratulations!
Good question. I've never seen bear but I just did see a moose on the barr trail yesterday. You'll be fine :-)
Yikes, what a stair master, you're awesome!!!!
Wow! I did the incline then ran out of water and was almost feeling like I was going to die! Can’t imagine the incline and Pikes Peak! Ur a beast
Fun stuff. Love, The Incline. Barr Trail and the climb. Round trip, is a blast. Full 26 miles. Love that place, so much. When the wind is all you can hear, besides your breathing, while your feet sail over the rocks onto the trail.
ALL in indeed :-)
Great hike Brandon. Thanks for sharing.
You, sir, are a beast.
thank you!
Epic man. You are inspiring. Thank you
Kind words and it's humbling to motivate so many!
Great video. You're always inspirational my friend. Hope to add this to my accomplishments next summer🇺🇸
We GRIND, we prevail.
Excited for the sea to summit video!
I'm just starting to post some photos on IG and twitter from the sea to summit journey. It was incredible.
You have a wonderfully steady hand videotaping while jogging haha.
mad skills
Nicely done! Just came from your awesome West Spanish Peak video. I enjoyed the seeing some trail running featured in a F.Y.S. video :-) Also great seeing Barr Camp featured here -- ultrarunning legend Zach Miller used to be the caretaker of that camp for over 4.5 years, but he moved on to other things in June of 2020. PS: I'll get all your new videos up on your website tomorrow.
Thank you Josh! Send me an email and I appreciate all that you do.
Did that last Wednesday via The Incline. My 54th trip up the Incline this year as I aim for 100. It was definitely a hot one until I got closer to the summit. Great time under 5 hours. I was in the 6:30 range.
Ah yes! I remember. Keep climbing and keeping it real 100% - show us all how it's done. :-)
i am looking at doing this - how did you get down from Pikes Peak? Did you take the cog train?
I've hiked down many times. You can take the Cog Train yet you'll probably have to buy the full ticket. They used to sell one way yet that was years ago. Or, you can find a really good friend to pick you up at the summit and offer them great views and a donut.
It's OK my friend to grow old. You keep looking younger 👀
This dude is fucking insain to do that hike in a little over 4hours . That's impressive
Thanks Israeli. We’re all crazy, just different ways right?
I did the incline yesterday and went on for another a total of 11 miles. All I could think about was doing pikes after the incline. May try for it in a few weeks.
It's addicting!
Jogging up Barr trail after the incline? I’m jealous of your fitness
Thank you Alicia. Have you had a chance to watch any of my other videos?
Terrific video, as always. Thanks for sharing. I just hiked Pikes via Barr (without the Incline) a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. How does the standard route compare to doing it via the Incline?
Congrats on Pikes! Incline just makes everything harder. :-)
This is awesome. Do plan to ever run an ultra? I don’t doubt you’d do very well. I could see you running Leadville
I have considered Leadville and other ultras for a while. For now, my passion is the challenges I share.
@@FoorTrek your adventures are awesome. Was mainly curious.
The hiking professor is back! Any videos from Zion or Arches?
I REALLY want to do Trans Zion soon....
Did you hike down? I want to summit this next summer. How practical is it to hike up and down in the same day starting early in the day?
My understanding is it's definitely not a good idea unless you have plenty of hiking experience, are in quite good shape and have spent a while at elevation
Good advice. If you're going up and down Pikes, then hike it from the Crags Trailhead.
"don't do this"..... I eat crayons, instructions unclear, do pikes peak via Manitou when I visit Colorado for a 2nd time! Roger! 🤣
It’s so sad to see what they’ve done to that mountain summit
If you don't touch the rock @ the top of the Incline it didn't happen.
I touch all the rocks. There's just a few....
Other much shorter hiking routes up that beast. No need to do a half marathon if you want to summit
At this stage, my page shows how I roll. LOL
