@EriebyCycle you do a good job at highlighting the scenic treasures that are taken for granted by the locals. Lighthouses and houseboats. Swampland and lakes. There are so many cool things. I'd like to see a longer video of everything.
The locals here trash talk our town too. It used to be a buzzing town of industrialism. Manufacturing with tons of support jobs. Bad politics set us back. Used to be at 90k in population. Now we are around the 55k mark. There are a lot of homeless people and abandoned buildings. Severe drug abuse and crime. We are changing it, though. Slowly but surely.
I can find the beauty in this city, though, and take the time to enjoy it. We have local attractions and some cool outdoor areas to ride, too.
It's what you make of it, ya know?! Beauty's in the eye of the beholder!
Yea, I'd say keep an eye on the forecast next week. They are talking about a record breaking Nor'easter Blizzard. From this coming weekend up to the next weekend after... it may get brutal. Lol! Can't say I'm prepared but I'm certainly excited for it. It's still to early to tell but if these weather guys are right, its going to be gnarly!
Oh, btw, that voice over is good man. You could shoot a movie doing that. Lol you got the perfect voice for it. And that little jam playin in the background sounded like a good tune!

Your town sounds a lot like Erie, former industrial hot spot, eyes on our past instead of where we could be going. Also changing - slowly but surely.
I hope we get clobbered next week, I'm not holding my breath for this weekend.
Thanks always for your kind words. I did the voice over late-ish last night after agonizing about what to say, and finally said screw it - just made it up as I went. There's something to the seat of my pants winging it that often works better than over thinking and planning... for me anyway.

@@billywood9717 funny thing is my wife said the same about the voice over, something about breaking into the asmr scene… I figured she’s a little biased though.
Bike is done and I’m very happy with it. I’m dialing in what works, and changing what doesn’t. Full video sometime soon.

You can't beat a News years day ride. I went to our local lake, T'was full of men being dragged round by their wives/girlfriends as they looked at our cool bikes with envious eyes.

It's about 20seconds in, guy with a yellow fluorescent coat next to it. Lots of cool bikes there, I like bikes with racks n bags on. Bikes carrying stuff, it's the future.
@@Cobwobbler I don’t think I know that person/bike… but that does describe my current build that I rode in this one… plus I went backwards with the tech. I think you will enjoy it.
