    QUESTION OF THE DAY: Have you ever had a compact inflator save the day for you? Where would you use this the most? Did it perform to your expectations?

      Yes several times I have had a portable inflater since about 2006 that lasted until 2014 when it got older and slower… then I replaced it with a Campbell Hausfeld 12v in 2016 and it was slow and the battery could barely top off a couple tires even when new. In 2021 I bought an M12 and it has been superb! I made a custom click on nozzle and it has been wonderful. Topped up sister’s and brother-in-laws tires, parents tires on a car and truck, my tires… fixed two cars at work wirh TPMS lights on one of which calls for 46 PSI! Also two different co-workers’s low tires… taken it to AutoCross, and filled a friend’s mom’s 2004 Corolla from 18 psi to 31 all around yesterday. Lately it does about 4 cars a week going into winter. It’s the best inflater o have ever had. I just ordered an M18 which comes tomorrow. Supposedly it’s twice as fast with twice the duty-cycle and intended to regularly fill bigger tires! It’s overkill, but I like having the best!

    To top off tires the m12 inflator is perfect. Now if you have bigger tires to inflate, that where the m18 comes to play.....Its a beast !!!

      Yes I agree. I've had a couple vehicles with slow leaks and they've come in handy until I could get the tires repair or replaced.

    I own quite a few Milwaukee tools and I recently purchased this tire inflator. I can’t wait to receive it. So far, all the reviews that I have seen have been positive. Thank you!

      Good choice! It's very light and portable, perfect for inflating tires. I use it all the time.

    Rumor has it that Santa Claus is bringing me one this year it comes with two batteries in the charger. I have a compressor in my garage but this is good for the obvious. Can’t say no to Santa, so I’ll take it with a smile.

    This is one of those tools you buy cause you already have the tools and batteries. I been using Milwaukee M-12 tools for a few years and I'm satisfied with them, so I'll buy the Milwaukee inflater. If I had DeWalt tools I most likely would buy the DeWalt inflater, etc.

      They had this on sale last year around the holiday season and it included a battery. I didn't need a battery, but the price was amazing.

    I have this inflator and it is great for its intended purpose. For inflating the pool air pillow for winter closing I use my compressor. I always throw this in the car for road trips.

    BTW looks like you have a alignment issue with the front tires, both are wearing on the outside.

    People thought I was crazy to have spent 89$ on this, bare tool. I got the last laugh when proving that it eliminated the need for a tire gauge, a compressor, a power source (assuming the battery is charged), proximity to a power source and I really love both the thread on connection and auto shut off. The convenience was worth the money for me, no question.

      I agree. If I lost this item, I'd definitely go out and buy another. I always use this instead of my other compressors. I like that I can set the tire pressure and walk away and it stops automatically.

      @@MarkThomasBuilder I just ordered the M18 inflater. If you go to Home Depot it is like $94 right now bare tool and ordinarily it is $179 bare tool. I couldn’t pass it up because the M12 inflater is amazing already. Project Farm a couple of years ago tried it against about a dozen inflaters and M12 was the best for anything under about 40 to 45 PSI. In recent tests about a year ago Ridgid barely beats the M12, but M12 is still more convenient with a better warranty. Cannot wait for my M18 unit to arrive tomorrow. It puts out about twice the air volume operates at about 75 PSI like this one does at 40, and has twice the duty cycle, too.

    i have alot if milwaukee tools but the dewalt inflator is better than this in my opinion...the dewalt has a higher psi rating and can run on 20 volt batteries, 12 volt vehicle power or a 110 volt plug....milwaukee can only run on an M12 battery...the dewalt was also faster...i had both of them but kept the dewalt

    • @MarkThomasBuilder
      @MarkThomasBuilder  Před 4 lety +1

      Interesting, I haven't tried the DeWalt one yet. I have a Stanley jump starter/compressor which is much slower than this. I'm wondering if Milwaukee might come out with a M18 version to take on the bigger stuff?

    • @kingofthecrease30
      @kingofthecrease30 Před 4 lety

      @@MarkThomasBuilder i would think they will but the M12 version needs a 12 volt adapter on it so it can be plugged into the vehicle outlet in case the M12 battery is dead or you dont have one....the 12 volt adapter on the dewalt is long enough to do all 4 tires on a full size pick up
