A response to a recent video by Hamza where I think he makes some fundamental errors about what relationships are and how they work
Hamza provides a lot of useful information to young men, and I've recommended him on my channel before, but I truly believe he's mistaken here.

Communication is so important! People's needs and wants change throughout relationships. This is normal. Healthy couples should support each other, have some different friends/hobbies but continue to work and grow together towards same goals.

I don't think so. I've not heard anything suggesting it.
Hamza is a narcissist, that nerdy geeky side to himself that sits on the couch eating food and making goofy voices is what he despises in himself and views as deeply unlovable, so much so that he calls the men that display these traits 'Jeffrey's' and constantly makes a point to differentiate himself from them and any of their behaviour. The moment he noticed himself displaying the same behaviour as a 'Jeffrey', when he was around someone that enabled him to let his guard down and put down the sword, he had to shut it off because deep down he feels that goofy side to him cannot be loved. He also conflates sexual attraction and admiration with love, e.g. he talks about leaving his future kids for months/weeks at a time to generate intrigue so that they admire him more. He essentially wants to game all of his relationships, even the ones with his kids. He also cant see how a relationship functions beyond sexual attraction, hence why he says you should never live with your woman long term, to again, hide the goofy side of himself.
I don't think it's narcissism and I don't think we are qualified to try to diagnose a personality disorder.
The main problem is black and white thinking. It drives people to swing from extreme to extreme. And that's not mentally healthy.

Hamza is a narcissist because he only views relationships as a game where he shape shifts in order to attract a girl.
Its ironic because in one of his videos he talked about how important authenticity is and now he wants to be inauthentic again.
