Brilliant work. As previously said Givi and Royal Enfield take note pay this man some money and manufacture it and call it the "Tiger Ness Touring Kit" Absolutely fantastic, 👋👌
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The pannier mounts are a one off, sorry but I’m definitely not going to be making any more 🤣
Absolutely fantastic work and I appreciate how difficult that was with hand tools. There is on old saying where I come from, "Built like a brick out-house". It's a complimentary comment describing something strong and dependable and you have added pleasing design and aesthetics, top marks Mr Ness 👍👍
Thank you! That was a particularly brilliant days riding, I really enjoyed it. Great to hear that you’ve enjoyed the series so far. Hope you continue to enjoy the episodes still to come 😁👍
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The pannier mounts are a one off, sorry but I’m definitely not going to be making any more 🤣
Pure class, on them mounts Ian. You did an A1 job on them. Get that patented, think they would sell! Still need to think about mounts and bags for Bumble. Was a lovely sunny dry but cold day yesterday, it’s chucking it doon, today. BBC said it’s dry again tomorrow, will see. If so hopefully get Bumble out. Again, top marks Ian on a fantastic build. ❤it.
Hi Mark Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The pannier mounts are a one off, I’m definitely not going to be making any more 🤣 Yes the weather is grim at the moment, won’t be long till spring. Watched your last video, your bikes are looking great, very clean. Ride safe
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The pannier mounts are a one off, sorry but I’m definitely not going to be making any more 🤣
Another cracking video Ian, I must say you’ve made a very professional job of the mounts, a pair of 50/50 tyres and you will be able to take the wee bike places that most GS owners only dream about 😂 looking forward to seeing your adventures 👍
Hi Ian Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The pannier mounts are a one off, I’m definitely not going to be making any more 🤣
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The pannier mounts are a one off, sorry but I’m definitely not going to be making any more 🤣
Nice bit of mechanical engineering! I'm guessing that might be your trade, at some level ......? Anyway, it's nice to see 👍All the best on your Mini GS travels, Phil (Hunter 350 owner, Somerset)
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The pannier mounts are a one off, sorry but I’m definitely not going to be making any more. I’m not an engineer, just capable at DIY. They were made using basic tools, drill, jigsaw, hacksaw and grinder / polisher.
Brilliant reworking the plates & efficient use of the cut outs! Your Classic 350 looks to be perfectly ready for a massive adventure! Straight to Falkirk for some cream filled donuts 😎 Well done sir!
You motivated me to try to mount some Touratech Zega Pros on my Interceptor 650. I just need a set of mounts to start off with. This will keep me busy for the rest of the winter.
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The pannier mounts are a one off, sorry but I’m definitely not going to be making any more 🤣
Hi Frank Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments. The brackets have turned out great and should be perfect for my adventures later in the year 👍
great job!!! I would like to buy such a set and I see in the comments that it's not just me, there are many people who would like to buy it. Think about production on a make-to-order basis😊
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The pannier mounts are a one off, sorry but I’m definitely not going to be making any more 🤣
Hi Bobster Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The weather should start to improve and I’m sure we’ll meet up again soon. Take care 😁
What a very professional upgrade, 1st class work, as you said it doesn't look non standard either. How many litres total capacity does the 3 boxes provide? I'm culling my bike's down to just the 350 classic after I've completed the NC500 in may on my Honda CB500X, so the 350 will become my do it all Sherpa, so mine is work in progress as we speak. Thank's for sharing this with us all.
Hi Steve Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The Dolomiti top case is 30 litres and the Alaska panniers each hold 36 litres so 102 litres total. Enjoy the NC500, the far north west of Scotland is stunning. I’ve ridden it many times, long be for the it was called the NC500, and keep going back. The wee Enfield is also a great bike to do it on, actually it’s perfect for some of the remotest parts 😁
Brilliant and classy work, and a great job explaining the process. What TPMS are you using (and I hope you use metal valve stems)? Bill, from New York state, across the pond.
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The TPMS is a set purchased from Amazon. Yes I have alloy wheels on my bike with metal angled valves, works great.
Hi, the transformation from the initial mount to the finished 1 is amazing & it also looks a proper job. By the way can I ask what size cover you have on the Bonnie as I had 1 of those covers on my Tiger but now have a Speed Twin? Looking forward to seeing your travels on the bike Regards Les.
Are you going let us know how it rides fully loaded with the new cam? Can't wait to find out as i am hankering after a bike to go slow lane touring and i think you may of hit on my answer...
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 I’ll do a follow up video soon with the bike fully loaded to see how well it handles and performs. I’m pretty sure that with the camshaft, it’ll work really well and make an excellent slow lane tourer.
Very nice work. On another topic, I noticed you have installed a 12v socket connector (SAE?) on the left side panel. Can you tell me the manufacturer of this?
Great to hear that you enjoyed my video and thank you for your supportive comments 👍 The socket was purchased on Amazon Cliff Top 12-24v Universal Female Hella(Din) Socket (Alloy)
Quite inspirational with a very high quality finish. Was all the shaping done by hand or do you have access to machinery. Looks like you removed a significant bit weight. All the best 🇩🇪
