As I was watching I had to keep cleaning the dust off my glasses !! DUSTOVISON TV a whole new video experience !!👍👍🇨🇦🇨🇦
Time for a airfilter change Mason 👍🏻👍🏻
I felt like coughing watching all that dust! I always drop back when the roads are that dusty. Guess you might loose your comms if you get spread out.
The comms were more of an issue before we went to the Sena 50S units but old habits die hard, lol. I was surprised how much range we had when I did drop back. Cheers :)
Pucker factor goes right up at speed on loose gravel ! Am noting those small steering corrections to keep your line . nice
Great job floating through the wilderness in all that dust . Your ride control is awesome . Thank you
Great day of riding Mason. Let Melon Know that Snow City Motorcycle and Marine has a new 300 L sitting on the showroom floor , if he is looking for one . After spending two days snow blowing myself this week ,I couldn't watch your snow blow video through to the end Ha ha .
Look at the size of that..... burger!! 🍔
DUSTY! 😳
That loose stuff will get your butt puckering.
Another great episode!
It must take for forever to edit 3 separate video/audio sources from 3 separate perspectives.
Even though the dust was bad the trip was unreal
Full respect!! Dirt roads to Kapuskasing is no joke... however I'm jealous because I wish I was along for the ride. Great stuff! Cheers 🍻
It was incredible Brad thanks for watching 👍
Dust, reminds me of watching some of the rides in Australia.
Good job guys! Looks like another great day off riding. Thanks Mason!
PS: Melons phone mount makes me anxious :)
Lmao!! I haven’t lost one yet!
Cheers Bryan :)
@@Melon-gb5vd Good to hear :)
Good challenge thru that loose gravel ! I ‘stood up’ while watching you go down the middle of the bridge ! Haha. Thx for sharing gents !! 👍🏽
Floating through all that gravel must take the stamina right out of you. Great control through it all though. The fist bump was such a cool momment to get on video by the way. Great riding boys.
Splitting the bridge centre was terrifying lol
The bridge was a nice break in the day :) Always good to get the adrenalin up, haha. Cheers.
Cool video the dust eaters
It was thick, Bruce :)
Because my klr is bored out to 705cc and its fully upgraded with every single power upgrade i have to run 91 octane in it at all times
Starter, light, and signal switches are designed poorly on every make of motorcycle I know. When you open them to clean out corrosion or, in your case, dust, little pieces move, springs pop and I swear every engineer throws that odd ball-bearing into the mix, spring loaded, to give you an excuse to crawl around on the ground for hours looking for it. And getting it back together becomes a battle of hands, as you try to hold one thing in place with a small screwdriver while you try to push a spring in with an razor knife, while holding the stitch and holding the switch body.
It's something you just have to practice opening up and putting back together, just like learning to change a tube.
Excellent riding. I have no idea how you guys are getting the weight off those front tires in the loose stuff with all that gear right at your back.
What a horror it would be to have the front guy lose their mic when directing sweep rider around obstacles. "Narrow bridge" comes to mind as something one would like to know about ahead of time when blinded by dust. Imagine that at night...
Yup that headlight issue was a head scratcher, figured it out by total fluke. You’re right though those controls are intricate. Luckily with the communication we still were in contact via the Senas, the only audio that was lost was the camera mic
Man that looked loose and the dust, rough going. How’s the air filters doing? What’s up with the magic bar pad, it changes once you start moving? 😁😁 good stuff ✌️
I thought how are my lungs doing lol
Haha. The next vid is the aftermath of the dust on the filters and the magic bar pad seems to do it's own thing ;)
@@masonsadv I have one on my 2008 klr your tech tips are helping me set my bike up thanks
I'm looking at getting a larger adv bike...I currently have the 250l also. I would love to come up that way some day. What road is that you're riding?
