14:48 my quarrel with the cropped slow-motion complaint is as follows: when in the world would you shoot a slow-motion wide?

This camera has some of the strongest, most robust codecs out there...10-bit, 12-bit, 4:4:4, all internal. And it does in fact record raw, outputted through the SDI. Has a respectable HFR mode at 120p, seeing as it can do this in FHD 12-bit. This camera is going to kill it in broadcast, reality and docs. I am a huge Sony fan like many others, but even I can recognize how successful this camera has the potential of being.
Those buying this thing can afford it. And most of those poo-poo'ing the Canon Cinema line haven't used any thing past an A7S, and wouldn't be able to handle the workflow that shooting raw brings, if their life depended on it. (Not poo-poo'ing the A7S, just those type of kids that think they're 'knowledgable' purely from CZcams camera "tests.")
Another thing that people don't realize, is while the FS7 is a KILLER beast of a camera for the price. It's more realistically closer to at least a $10,000 camera after the appropriate amount of media is purchased. Though the XQD cards ARE cheaper than the SXS cards that the F5/F55 use, they are still much, MUCH more expensive than the SD and CF cards that many who are looking at this camera are used to buying. With a truly professional camera, comes truly professional expenses.

grieta revienta, I loved it! but... don't you think this camera is overpriced taking into consideration that it doesn't even record Raw and slow motion is not so great as others cameras have?

+german mairen Most people talked bad about the C300 Mk I too, but the specs is one thing - the image is another. If you need slomo in 4K, buy another camera. If you want 4K with Canon's great color science, buy this one.

+Jan Kivisaar I'm craving for 4:4:4 which this camera provides, but $15,999 versus $7,999 (FS7) is incredibly painful. So torn as I want that colour science and then some.

+EAprima I had the same dilemma a couple of months ago. I went with the FS7. The Sony was a better solution for me, here are some points/advantages to the fs7, 1, Price. 2, Canon lenses gain one stop when using the MetaBones speed booster. 3, Built in zoom rockers on top handle and hand grip for future servo next gen lenses. 4, better low light and less noise in the shadows 5, Color science, this camera looks much like a c-300 6, Run and gun ready, no rig needed 7, 8, 9, and 10 PRICE.

The c300 mkii is the most over rated camera in recent history. No 4k 60p ouch.
