    This is more a review of the camera than actual setup. C'mon dude. You already have the camera setup before the video begins.

    Does it have a mic jack for a standard Rode Mic Pro (3mm). I'm thinking that mic might give better audio than the in camera scratch audio mic, although I'm not sure.

    This is a review of the camera, not an actual setup. You're wasting people's time with your dishonesty. Call it a review.

    Thanks for this - super helpful! I just have a quick question - in order to use the dual pixel autofocus, do you have to use a Canon EF L Series lens, or could I use a Sigma EF Art lens and still use this feature?
    Thank you!

      They are about the same. The newer versions of Canon L glass focus faster than previous versions. Canon's STM lenses are the ones designed with top focusing speeds that can keep up with Dual Pixel AutoFocus. Unfortunately, STM lenses are Canon's cheaper lenses and most are not as sharp as their L lens counterparts. It depends on the situation, film set, with ample set up time vs steadicam or event. I've used the Sigma 18-35mm 1.8 with Dual Pixel with no problems with autofocus, but it was too slow for steadicam work, so I just used a manual follow focus (with a bigger crew, wireless follow focus via teradeck).

    thank you very much guys ... can you make a video about the new scarlet w, with some comparison with the new epic and alexa mini?
    I know is a lower level camera between the ones you used to review but for many is a sweet spot for longer rental projects.
    thanks a lot and good job

    Slow motion on the C300 mk II. What is the "slow & fast motion (crop)" option, that allows you to switch to 120fps? It says 1080p 10bit. I assume it's good quality, but I haven't actually recorded in that mode.

    How do you use the view finder with that battery on it?

    • @rudestrudedog
      @rudestrudedog Před 6 lety +1

      the camera would use the internal batts in that mode.... stripped down to docu style..."low profile."

    Dont you hate it when you have a camera review WITHOUT a visual demo video from the camera during the review video... smh
