At the Bench: Canon C300 Mark II

Back at this year’s NAB show, we were lucky enough to grab a few moments at the Canon booth to take a quick first look at the new C300 Mark II. Now that we’ve gotten to spend a little more time with it, I thought it would be nice to do a more in-depth tour of the camera, both inside and out. In the first half of the video above, I go over the major physical differences between the C300 Mark II and its predecessor, the C300. In the latter half, I’ll go over the internal details, including the new XF-AVC codec as well as the upgraded dynamic range capabilities with Canon Log 2.
