Awesome video Dean, as always!
Thanks for watching Jamie
Love your music!
Thanks for watching Richard
It is always great to see a new post from you Dean, and I hope that you are keeping well. What a perfect day for your trek, and as for the scenery, it was just spectacular. I'm quite envious! You definitely looked like all your Christmas's had come at once! There is definitely something magical about that landscape, stark, but very beautiful. You could see why it was the perfect fit for the LOTR. I really hope that everything goes well for the rest of your trip, and that you have a fantastic time. All the best to you and Stef, and safe home.
Hi Martin, thanks for watching. It was a spectacular day out and I was very impressed with the North Island of New Zealand. We hope to return again soon and do the South Island. All the best. Dean
One does not simply walk into Mordor.
Dean: hold my sun cream...
Haha 😂 10/10 there. Thanks for watching
No problem. From someone who discovered your channel during lockdown , I think I have watched every video about 5 times over, genuinely, hence knowing that you'd get the sun cream reference as it's something you often joke about throughout your content. Again, as a massive LOTR fan too, this video was great but I look forward to you being back out in the Peaks as it's definitely my favourite place in the world, perhaps being biased as I'm sheffield based and clearly not too far, but nevertheless.
Anyhow, keep up the great work, content is fantastic and you always come across as a real genuine/interesting guy on camera, although I'm sure Steph might disagree at times. 😉
Cheers, Sam.
A great video forged in the fires of Mt. Doom. Absolutely fantastic scenery, you could definitely imagine that old lava flow was another world like mars. New Zealand is somewhere id love to go, for probably same reasons as you, as I love LoTr and the hobbit films.
Thanks for sharing and ill see you soon
Atb Mark
Thanks for watching Mark, some serious bucket list items ticked off in the 3 weeks we were there. Looking forward to a fire rock or a rescheduled camp with the fellas soon 👍
Looked an epic adventure Dean with some spectacular scenery. NZ is on my bucket list and I shall certainly visit there someday. Looks like a beautiful country

Thanks for watching Jimmy, it’s was a dream come true to get to go to New Zealand. Hope to return again in the future and explore the South Island. Hope you’re keeping well mate, all the best. Dean 👍
Bucket list stuff for a LOTR fan. Surprised you didn't grab Hunter, put him on you shoulders and shout "I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you." lol Amazeballs. Would love to go.
Haha 😂 that would have been a perfect addition to the video, I can't believe I didn't think about that. Thanks for watching
epic vid mate glad you not forgot us now you hit the big time 👍 terry Abraham springs to mind that I used to watch some years ago, glad you got you dream job though mate.
Thanks for watching Graham, I've still got a few more to edit so will get round to it asap 😁 I camped a few times with Terry back in the day, I was even in some Karrimor and Vango promo videos he made, that seems like a lifetime ago now. We were going to meet in Dufton when I walked the Pennine Way in 2019 but he got a better offer, filming with the RAF for his life of a mountain trilogy 😂 Hopefully I'll have some more videos to upload soon. All the best, Dean
@@DeanRead be nice to see some hikes in the peaks when you have the time 👍
Might head out with the bivvy for a wander when the weather improves, feel like I've recorded all the walks I want to do in the Peaks already 😁
@@DeanRead just do some remakes, seems all the rage in Hollywood so why not CZcams 😂😂
I love you Dean but I can you focus your camera on the the things your talking about more please. You're a great guide but I only ha r a small screen.
