  • In the 3rd instalment from our TGOC adventure we set out from Aviemore to Glenmore, after an afternoon at the Pine Martin bar we pitch at the side of Loch Murlich. We climb Ben Macdui the following day and camp at Derry Lodge. We then wander via Mar Lodge to Braemar and have a few more celebratory ales :-)

      Thanks for watching Dave. It's a really great song so I had to include a snippet of it. I've included a bit at the end of the final video which is about to go live now, Andrew Walker very kindly let me remix his tribute version a little and use it.

      I really enjoyed editing these, it took me a while to get the time to do it but it was great to relieve it again. I always enjoy filming the trips, it's quite therapeutic for me taking to the camera. It's my way of keeping sane when things get tough in the hills 😁

    What’s kinda kit is needed for start of September normally on the cairngorms what kind of temps and weather would i expect on the peaks

    • @DeanRead
      @DeanRead  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Joe, thanks for watching. It's hard to say really as you could expect all different temperatures at that time of year in Scotland. It could be really warm or very cold. I'd make sure you have a decent sleeping bag and kit to keep you warm at night if your camping. Hope you have a great time 👍
