Great set of videos. The Challenge. The people. Yep 😊
It's all about the People, thank you for watching 👍
Many thanks Dean a great set of videos and a great advert for the challenge.
Thanks for watching this set of videos Marty, it was a great adventure. Wishing I was doing it in 2023, all being well we are heading back to Tasmania to walk the Overland Track again. That would be another good series of videos for you to watch from when we did it in 2016 😀
Fantastic dean a great way to finish and a brilliant series start to finish.
It was an adventure I'll remember forever, quality time with great people in a spectacular place.... What more could you ask for 😁 thanks for watching

Great to watch your hiking vids again Dean - feeling tempted to experience the TGO in the future. nice one buddy
Thanks for watching, you should definitely give the TGO a go. The people I met along the way and the scenery all made it such a memorable experience
Another great set of video's Dean. Really enjoyed watching, especially the places I've visited (some time ago). Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching Alan, it's a stunning part of the world
Fantastic well done 👏
Thanks for watching 👍
Mate! What an adventure! Great to see you wildcamping again :) atb
Thanks for watching Richard, it was great to be on a multi day backpacking trip again. I'd lost my wild camping mojo recently as I've been running more but really enjoyed being back out in the tent again.
Nice surprise to see an upload to watch with breakfast. This area is close to where I live so good to see how amazing it looks, still to get out there myself! 🥾. Fantastic achievement mate and very well presented 👍🏻🍻
Thanks for watching, you should definitely get out there 👍😎
An excellent adventure very well done Dean and fellow walkers, I felt I was part of the group myself and enjoying the beautiful scenery and the beers, hope you will be back soon to do some more walking and wild camping cheers.
Thanks for watching Phillip, hopefully I'll be back out on the trail with the tent again soon.
Lovely my favourite cafe in Braemar is the Bothy, the hungry Highlander chippy use to be really good in the 2002 - -2014? When the 2 ladies ran it, cod and chips was like Whale and chips 🍟
We grabbed chips at the Hungry Highlander on arrival in Braemar 😁 Thanks for watching
A brilliant set of videos recording TGOC 2022 - as always your personality and love for the outdoors shine through. Thanks Dean!
Thanks for watching Peter and for your kind words. I love sharing my adventures outdoors and the fact that people enjoy them is a bonus. ATB Dean
Omg I remember that plane crash sight from last year I walked 18 miles from Loch Muick visitor centre up Broad cairn 5 Munro’s to Lochnagar circular route, thank you 🙏 for the memories x
Thanks for watching Paul, I really enjoyed this adventure. Looking forward to returning to Scotland again in September
Great videos as usual Dean looking forward for the spine challenger now . Take care
Thanks Robert, looking forward to getting the footage from the GoPro and reliving the Spine Challenger while editing 😁 No doubt I will have talked rubbish while I was tired, no more than I usually do though 🤣🤣
Congratulations Dean 👏🏻👏🏻. Loved this series. Thank you so much for sharing and taking us along xx
Thanks for watching Ginette, it was a great adventure 👍😎
Really enjoyed this Dean. Beautiful scenery and no doubt a thoroughly enjoyable hike. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching Chris, it was an adventure to remember forever that's for sure
Great job in filming your trip Dean. Before your vlogs I hadn’t even heard of the TGO and I’m a keen walker. Many thanks for sharing your adventure.
Thanks for watching Jon, you should definitely check out the TGO. It was a great adventure, the views were amazing but it really was the people that made it what it was for me.
Fantastic series, you did a fine job of compressing the 14 days into 4 videos yet still keeping it feeling like we missed nothing. That bothy was truly a palace, like a mini stately home 😁
Thanks for taking us along Atb Mark
Thanks for watching this series Mark, it was a great trip. Had no idea how much footage I had so I was glad I could condense it down to 4 installments.
@@DeanRead it’s hard work when you have ridiculous amount of footage, you have to be brutal with what you use and cut
I kept most of it in to be fair just trimmed it a little 😎
Enjoy all of your videos Dean, and this was another great series. Out of curiosity have you thought about doing the Southern Upland Way sometime?
Thanks for watching Rich. I'd looked at doing the southern upland way, it does look spectacular. One day perhaps, it's definitely on my list
Well done Dean. Another great challenge ticked off. Really enjoyed following you along on this one. Have you got any other long distance hikes planned?
Thanks for watching Anthony, it was a great adventure. Have a few trail runs in the pipeline and we're going to visit new Zealand over Christmas, other than that nothing long distance yet. I'll hopefully be signing up for the Full Montane Spine event next year.. all being well 😁
18:44 - not Elgin! 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Hi Dean, cracking video’s mate. Where about in Edzell were you able to camp?
Thanks for watching Fraser, we camped on the park at Edzell. Just checked on the map and it’s called Edzell Muir near the church. We didn’t pitch until late in the day so no dramas at all, think it’s a regular TGOC spot
