You make it look so easy lol! I know how long and hard those days on trail can be. Love it though, can't wait to get out on the trail, it allows you to really zone into a different way of being. Onto your next vid now! ATB 🙎🏻♀️&🐕

One of my favourite Knopfler tracks that, Sailing to Philadelphia 👍 Thanks for watching
Really enjoying following your TGO adventure, Dean. Every time I watch a Dean Read multi-day adventure, I get the itch to get back out on the long distance trail myself. Scotland sure is a beautiful place and a hikers dream really. Did you have any further issues with ticks? It feels like 95% of the UK tick population are in Scotland. I couldn’t quite believe how many I saw during my trip in March. Must be the sheer amount of deer and other wildlife. Looking forward to part 3
Thanks for watching Anthony. I'm getting the itch again myself while reliving this adventure during the editing process 😁
The views, the Deer, beautiful. Really enjoying this Dean. Couple of questions if I may. Does someone in the Team carry an Inreach? I know you are all more than capable but just in case? The other question is do you check in at way points ie for safety? I know you aren't 100s of miles from civilisation but I wonder about the more abstract things having worked at Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) Pitreavie Castle for 4 1/2 years during my time there in the RAF.. Beautiful part of the world this, isn't it. The Peaks are beautiful in their own right but this is definitely a step up. Thanks for the vlog. Outstanding.
Thanks for watching Chris. You aren't required to carry a PLB but Pete in our team had a Spot Tracker. You have to check in via mobile every 3 days (2 or 3 I can't remember), if challenge control don't hear from you they check the route you submitted and may possibly call in search teams.
