    I have a 2020 Gran Milano with 2500km on the clock and for the money it is a blast!
    I like the gearbox which works just fine and neutral is easy for me to find, and shifting up and down is smooth as well. First gear is a tad short but you can rev it out if desired. Riding position is surprisingly comfy and I'm ok after two hours or so. Haven't tried longer rides yet...
    I'm 5'10" (178cm) and I probably wouldn't fit if I was much taller. I do find it to be a small bike really though, since this is the smallest bike I've owned since 1973...
    Bike feels solid and is stable on the road, brakes works well for me and once I adjusted the suspension it handles really well.
    Took out the baffles but found it a bit barky so I put them back in, no problem.
    Previous owner removed the mirrors and put on bar end mirrors which look great.
    All in all I think it's great value for money. I love the looks and so do my neighbours who've told me it's their favourite bike of mine, and I've had heaps...

    Nice review, thanks. Saw one of these for sale locally and was intrigued due to the looks but having watched the video and read the comments I think I’ll give it a miss.

    Just bought one of these on looks alone! Was thinking of a RE Scram but the SWM was less cash, more power & just looked the part. Haven't ridden it yet but have had no problems finding neutral in the garage!

      They look nice and sound nice. I’m sure you will love it.

    Sir, I am sure this was my old bike, AE69 EJN there can not be many with the tank graphics removed and the clock that I fitted, and screen and headlamp guard The biggest problem with this bike was trying to find neutral. I was given the " it will wear in " crap, but after the 4,000 miles that I put on it it was still the same. Sometimes it would go from second straight to first instead of neutral, and I could not lift it back to neutral with my foot. I'd have to stop it and lift it by hand. It came dirty and the delivery lad could not wheel it out the van because he could not get neutral , and with 80 miles on the clock. I spent a day cleaning it. I can only imagine whoever had a go on it just walked away, luckily it cost me £2.750 and I traded it in and got £2,500 against a Benelli 500, which, apart from Suzuki, has the best gearbox I have come across.

      I never managed to get neutral either. I found the gears to be really stiff. Swapping for the 500 Benelli was a good move. I’m guessing the Leoncino 500. I’ve not had the pleasure of riding that but I’ve tried the 125 and the 800 and was really impressed. Especially the 800. Possibly my favourite bike of the year.

      @@GillyBikes Hi, the Leoncino is an excellent bike, its engine is so smooth, its like riding an across the frame four with only two cylinders if that makes sense. I can not fault it, especially the price. Keep up the good work. Terry 68 years.

      Having had 2 Benelli Tornados, I can say getting neutral on any Italian bike is a pig of a job. I had to turn the bike off in gear then select it.

      I had tnt 125 and never had an issue with that one. 🙌

    Speedy Working Motors ...made near Lake Maggiore Italy in the old...Husqvarna factory ....I agree the early ones had a not great gear change ....I believe later ones were modded and are better ...you didn't mention the tank digging into your thighs which I and several others complained about ...I believe but am not 100 % certain that the later ones ..usually metallic green the tanks are slightly narrower ..show it some twisties and a nice dry roads absolutely brilliant fun 👍

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes  Před rokem +1

      It would have been really fun to ride if those gears went in a bit easier. I never noticed an issue with the tank digging into my thighs. I thought it was comfortable it was just those gear changes I didn’t like.

    I had a later model Silver Vase, the scrambler version (2019) and overall it was a good bike, the engine was a peach, powerful, raved well and it had plenty of speed when needed. The gear change was Ok but almost impossible to find neutral at stop, it took some time to develop the technique when coming to a stop. Rust was showing itself after a year, in headlight shell and exhaust fittings. The petrol cap leaked, but A$5000 delivered to my house( no dealers within 300 klm) registered and on the road was very very good value. But I found it a bit tight in ergonomics and on longer trips it became uncomfortable. Worth a go just because they tried so hard to get this bike back in the market.

      @GillyBikes  Před rokem

      I really couldn’t get it into neutral and the gears were stiff. I liked everything Else. How long did you keep yours?

    Nice job - adjustable suspension front and back not bad for a budget bike - is it easy to change the handlebars for a much more upright riding position ??

      I could be wrong paul but I believe that you need to swap out the triple clamp for one that accommodates bar risers. There may be clip-ons available with an upward bend and if such a thing exists it would be the easy option...

    All motorcycles regardless of size to have twin disc on the front wheel in the interest of safety. Especially bigger heavier motorcycles but smaller motorcycles could always use more breaking as well.

    It looks a bit like the old Honda GB500 cafe racer, but with a load of parts from Wish added onto it. 🤣
    By the sounds of it, it seems like a decent bike to ride, but I'd definitely be put off by a gearbox that's clunky and won't find neutral easily. That just smacks of poor build quality.

    Shitty XBR engine in cheap chinese cycle parts , like the lack of centre stand, pillion seat and no pegs. (MOT Fail). Sounds even worse than an XBR.

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes  Před rokem

      I don’t think my camera does the sound justice. The sound was probably the best bit about it.

    • @andyc750
      @andyc750 Před rokem +2

      try doing some research then, it does have a pillion seat under the tailpiece and the pegs come with the bike, and as it is in the vid it does not need them as the pillion seat is not useable, as for the centerstand, hardly any bikes come with them now and not all cheap Chinese parts either, much is European

      @@GillyBikes The exhausts have baffles which are held in with a circlip and a spot of weld. I removed the clips but the baffles would not budge, so I drilled through with a 20mm dia. hole cutter to free them up a bit. It is stated that they are still road legal with the baffles removed. I have a few 50mph roads near me, and if there was just me on the road the bike would just hold 50 in top, but the moment you hit any traffic travelling at slightly below you would have to keep dropping down then changing up again, which soon becomes a pain. It would also " hunt " at a constant throttle.
