How I Healed from Ulcerative Colitis - A Public Service Announcement

  • Note: In 2022, about a year after this video was made, I went and had a colonoscopy for the first time in more than 10 years. The doctor said I was completely cured of ulcerative colitis. No sign of it whatsoever. He said he was surprised that I ever had had it at all. I think if he hadn’t seen my records about previously having had it he likely wouldn’t have believed me!

    This video made me cry so much. I was diagnosed with UC 5 years ago and last year nearly died from a severe flare. I‘m crying because I wish I had this information before doctors cut out my colon. I now see how I could have saved my large intestine. I still feel a lot of grief. Thanks for sharing this video Daniel, so many doctors refuse to believe this information. I now see how knowing my true self and listening to my emotions could have saved me from a lot of pain.

    Thank you for further validating my idea of what is going on with my body. I do not have UC or Chron's, but rather very annoying IBS/visceral hypersensitivity that popped up after a very stressful time period in my life a year and a half ago. Job, lifestyle, and the toxic relationship took their toll on me and after two clean colonoscopies and no relief from diet modifications, I ultimately think it's all from stress.

Your videos make me feel so much less alone in my ideas and I regularly watch your videos, staying up to date whenever you post because of how much they improve my mood and self-confidence. Just wanted to tell you that you're doing an amazing job and your videos improve my life on the daily, helping me grow into the best version of myself and have confidence in my ideas even if most people around me will disagree or shut them down. Thank you so much for being brave and presenting your perspective on so many important topics that aren't publicly discussed the way they should be. Please don't ever change, you're making such a difference and having such a big impact on people, even if it's only a handful, somebody needs to start somewhere sometime and it's so great that you're taking that initiative. Overall, THANK YOU for sharing your mental and physical journey through life, spreading awareness and being unapologetically yourself. Keep growing, Daniel. I love it when doctors say they have no idea what causes these conditions. The information is out there and so is our intuitive knowledge about our own systems. It seems so obvious to me that I really can't fathom why there is still such a massive disconnect. I have read most of the comments here and it just feels so confirming. I am grateful to Daniel for creating an environment in which individuals of a similar ilk can listen to and resonate with one another. Just yesterday I was conversing with some friends about health and diet and just basically said that most doctors, perhaps I said "all" (shameless), are worthless. OK I am unfair and stupid sometimes, but I just get so tired of listening to people talk about all of the nonsense that is being spewed by the "experts."
    Daniel cures himself when he listens (ironically) to his gut. Don't the experts want to know how he did this? So many people are afflicted with serious gut issues and here is someone who has cured himself!
    Conventional "solutions" are worthless and, ironically, are making many people quite wealthy.

    I have a psych degree and a nursing degree, have profound childhood trauma and prior stress induced low immunity (cured!), and I can without a doubt say that the medical community does not practice medicine holistically. Even when they pretend to they hugely miss the mark. They can’t stand the idea that you can’t medicate away trauma which is causing these issues, and they can’t even consider trauma as a role or these health issues as something that can genuinely be cured because it would cause them to have to stop dissociating from themselves and their own trauma.

    I ran a cross this video while looking at videos about nutrition and inflammation.
    I have a similar story. In my 20s, I started law school. Back then, the conventional wisdom seemed to be that, in order to get a “good job,” you needed to in the top 10% of your class. So I stressed out about it all, and by the end of the first semester, I was very very sick. At the time, I didn’t even know what ulcerative colitis was. All I knew was that I was sick. I hadn’t changed my diet at all. Nothing was different in my life except all the stress. I didn’t drop out of school, but I did decide that I wasn’t going to stress out about it for one more day. So I stopped worrying about grades. Once I made that change, my symptoms subsided. And as it turned out, my grades weren’t really affected. I breezed through the next few years.
    One month after graduation, I found a good job. It was stressful, though, and there I was again with ulcerative colitis. I left that job after a year. After taking off and relaxing for six months, I found an even better job. Unfortunately, that job was stressful, too, at least at first. Fast forward six months and I had it figured out. No more stress and the symptoms subsided.
    I eventually moved from that job to a better job in another city. Once again, stressful at first, and once again, my symptoms returned. And again, as I became familiar with the work, the stress level went down and my symptoms disappeared. Five years later, I was in the financial position to retire early, and that’s exactly what I did. That was almost 20 years ago. At least for me, no stress = no ulcerative colitis.

So many doctors are clueless it’s amazing. I’m the same, not colitis but panic attacks and GERD from my toxic work environment. I had to leave to save my health. I still have GERD but to a lesser degree since stopping work. I naturally absorb what negative forces are around me. Just automatically and I just cannot subject myself to it at all. I also come from an extremely abusive family so I know that’s the source of all my issues. I went no contact from them 20 years ago.

    this is something i need to address , a lot of my stress related illnesses cleared up with meditation. I cant even explain it and i wasnt even trying to 'heal' , i just got into a meditative state and felt my body relaxing and healing, . stress on its own is useful as long as you can de-stress after the event , the problem with many people is that they are in a low level stress state 24 hours a day , this releases tiny amounts of cortisol and adrenaline which , first of all knocks out the sex drive , then the digestives system, (it figures if i am in alert mode i will temporarily shut down the things i dont need, ) so you can't get into sex and you stop digesting food properly. also cannabis does not work if you have adrenaline in your system so people , desperate to relax are using loads of the stuff which then has its own complications

    • @ReginaMcNeish
      @ReginaMcNeish Před rokem

      I agree with everything you said with the exception of cannabis. We as a people have a huge disfuncrion with the laws of gender and it is in everything and everywhere. Currently it is now manifesting in a whole new way that is causing a mass state of confusions. Cannabis is a feminine plant and will show you where you are energetically so most people are in a state of anxiety and stress and those who do not understand this nor respect the feminine energy will experience massive amounts of paranoia and anxiety when taking cannabis. They do not know that they are not addressing the feminine in them and the plant and it will make people even worse. They have to recognize that they are out of balance in that moment with the feminine and read direct their thoughts. As I said we are so unaware of the laws of gender they just don’t know how to do it and let their minds race and usually are in terrible environments and are very spiritually unaware to begin with. Even if you believe you are a spiritual person you still won’t necessarily be aware of the imbalance in the gender with in. I can not tell you how many yoga obsessed women who swear up and down they are spiritual that are stuck in a masculine energy not realizing that yoga is a masculine practice and they should stay away cuz they are saturated with too much masculine.
      I’m basically saying yes cannabis can help however only if you understand the laws of gender which is on EVERYONE AND THING. If anyone wants to use it to calm their anxiety they MUST be aware of the feminine and a way of doing this is if you recognize you have racing thoughts or are anxious before you use it be aware those will intensify cuz the plant SHE tells you where you are to HELP you fix it but it turns into more of a devouring feminine energy rather than a nurturing feminine healer as is it’s nature. So be around the right people who have higher sense of conversations and can talk to you about the issues you may have so you can release them. Also stop your thoughts and go into feeling into your body and relax it. Otherwise stay away and learn the laws of gender…❤

    I always wondered if there was another reason why you cut off your family and left your profession. Now it all makes sense. Doctors don't believe in this kind of stuff because so few people are willing to make changes like this. The same can be true with diet. I switched to the Caldwell Esselstyn diet (whole food plant based, no added oil) and reversed my coronary artery disease. Many doctors don't believe in this either, even though Dr. Esselstyn has published his amazing results in the peer-reviewed literature. Again, it is because so few people are willing to make major changes that they never see an example of it working.

Suddenly i had so much poop inside of my colon and I said to myself I cant poop infront of my sister, so i smacked my ass on the wall several times for the stool to go up the colon. After a few minutes i had serious pain and just pooped all of it out with blood. The relief was so nice thought. At that time i was diagnosed with ulcerative proctitis, which after a few months became total ulcerative colitis. The doctor told me it may also get to chrons disease.
    So now i am sitting here, wondering what to do after 2 years of diagnosis, i am currently 19 years of age.

    This is a Little Story about something of a smaller magnitude: I am an amateur keyboard player and I had a lot of problems with my tendons and in some occasions I thought with desperation about quitting the instruments I was playing. At that exact time I had a psychiatric diagnosis and as soon as I got better with psychotherapy I completely solved my tendons problems. At the beginning I felt like there was someone inside me (subconsciously) that was watching over my shoulders and punishing me for how miserable I was, and that made me contract out of fear causing the tendon problems. I'm glad that with time only by growing more mature and changing my life style I'm healing a lot of small chronic physical issues. I hope medicine will start talking this issues seriously soon.

    You seem to have done it the right way & you're still engaged with the therapy /mental health world but in a different way... I have multiple health probs, freeing oneself of family constraints which vary in degrees according to person must be one answer. I'm waiting to resolve an issue with someone its been taking months dragging me down waiting, when it's over the healing may begin.

It's funny because I just talked with a girl on a facebook group and she told me she just cured herself from an incurable desease ! and it was not intended we were talking about something completely different (she was travelling) and she told me that, like 5 minutes after I finished watching your video.. Such congruence always amaze me

    Amen! I have always said it was caused by stress. I had doctors tell me no, it's just that the disease itself causes stress, so you mistakenly think that's the cause. As with so much that they tell you about the disease, that is well meaning but not helpful. I found a life dedicated to Jesus to be the answer to keeping me in peace. The Bible says He is the Prince of Peace, how cool is that? I love your heart to tell people the truth, and I am happy you are free from that awful disease!

    You can't travel with bad uc. Get away from too much stress is important but at least in most of the cases, you need to eat the right foods to heal. IMO stress impacts your immunity against bad stuff, lowers the defense, but it doesn't make you sick... like cold doesn't make you sick.
    Just eat
    easily digestible foods with pre- and probiotics. Kefir (
    raw milk made where possible), fermented pickles, avocado, eggs, apple juice. For meat you can go for chicken liver (monitor cholesterol). And supplements like D3, K2, C,
    Omega3, magnesium, zinc etc.
    I recommend at the beginning to stay away from cabbage and celery juice. And you will heal! Later on you can add other stuff... step by step.

    • @betsyc9421
      @betsyc9421 Před 8 měsíci

      Hi . Isn’t cabbage recommended to help heal UC?

    • @vulcanus30
      @vulcanus30 Před 8 měsíci

      @@betsyc9421 Sauerkraut juice is highly recommended. But it is important to make a distinction here as to what stage the colitis is at. If the intestines are very ulcerous, it would be wise to avoid the slightest stress in the intestines - to allow the wounds to heal. Perhaps when the fiber is removed in the juicing process, consuming a small amount of juice initially can be acceptable.

    Wow Daniel, great story. Thank you for sharing. On the gut health issue , this reminded me about the autism/gut health connection proven out by the CDC scientists who were subsequently ordered to destroy the parts of their research that implicated the pharma company that the corrupt CDC director went on to get a high paying gig with (see excellent documentary "VAXXED") Gut health is so very important and your story adds important reminders to non-obvious (to many) sources of dis ease.

      Yess grass fed beef, wild caught fish, chicken bone broth, blueberries, steamed broccoli and carrots, garlic help me SO MUCH! I’m a blood type O and the diet for that blood type matches up pretty well with my current diet to heal my UC/autoimmune disease. I’ve always been overly emotional/empathetic so much that I feel bad going to a therapist cause I know they have their own shit to deal with (like this awesome guy in the video went through). But stress is something I used to always let get to me and I always tried to help people that didn’t want help and just abused me. So now it’s MY time for stress free fun! ❣️ Love & light to you all!

      @Wayne M I know there are other reasons for a colonoscopy, but just putting this out there: I was diagnosed with diverticulosis through an MRI. I had gotten for a different reason, but the machine picked up the "pockets." I get flares of diverticulitis when I eat something they don't like.
